Chapter 151: Champa

"Zamasu!"

Gowasu glared at Zamasu sharply and reprimanded, "I told you long ago that mortal conflicts are necessary! Have you forgotten what I taught you?"

Now, Gowasu finally understood why the Zamasu of the future timeline had gone to such extreme lengths.

As early as when he had taken Zamasu to observe the mortal population of a certain planet, Zamasu had already expressed his radical ideas. At the time, Gowasu had refuted them, believing his student would eventually correct his views.

But he hadn't.

Instead, Zamasu had sunk deeper and deeper into this dangerous mindset, until he was beyond redemption.

Facing Gowasu's reprimand, Zamasu remained unfazed. With a smirk, he said, "Master Gowasu, I don't see any reason for mortals to exist. Their filth only stains this beautiful universe. Without them, the cosmos would embrace a better future, wouldn't it?"

"Nonsense!" Gowasu shouted angrily. "Zamasu, you're twisting logic to suit your own desires! The duty of a Supreme Kai is to observe the development of mortals and guide them!"

"Heh heh heh…"

Zamasu let out a sinister chuckle. "Master Gowasu, as gods, why must we serve such impure creatures? Wouldn't it be far better to erase them?"

Then, turning his gaze toward Kahn, he sneered. "Master Kahn has been to the future timeline. It seems that my future self succeeded… so I can't die here!"

With those words, Zamasu suddenly lunged at Gowasu, his hand reaching out like a claw.

"In front of me, you still dare to act so recklessly? It seems you truly don't take me seriously."

Kahn snorted coldly. Without moving a muscle, he unleashed a wave of supreme divine pressure upon Zamasu, like a mountain crashing down.

Thud!

Zamasu's expression changed drastically as his knees buckled. Under Kahn's overwhelming divine force, he collapsed onto the ground, unable to move.

Seeing his student kneeling in place, completely immobilized, Gowasu felt only disappointment. "Zamasu… you are beyond saving."

Kahn waved his hand dismissively. "There's no point in wasting words on someone like him."

For a being as radical as Zamasu, persuasion was meaningless.

The only way to deal with him—was to erase him forever.

Without hesitation, Kahn extended his hand, locking onto Zamasu.

"You dared to try and kill Gowasu in front of me? You've gone too far, Zamasu."

Kahn's voice carried a chilling finality.

"Hakai."

As Kahn uttered the word of destruction, Zamasu's body froze.

His eyes widened with unwillingness and despair as his very existence began to unravel.

Within seconds, he disintegrated into countless specks of purple light, fading into nothingness.

Only after Zamasu had vanished completely did Gowasu sigh, guilt etched across his face. "Master Kahn… I bear some responsibility for raising such a disciple."

"It's not your fault," Kahn replied flatly. "You can teach someone, but you can't control their nature. Zamasu was always destined to be like this."

"Master Kahn is right," Zalama agreed. "Zamasu's twisted ideology was his own failing, not yours."

Gowasu sighed again. "Even so… I still appreciate your help, Lord Kahn. If not for you, I might have met my end today."

"No need to thank me," Kahn said casually. "Just remember this lesson when choosing your next student."

"I will, Lord Kahn," Gowasu replied humbly.

A New Journey

With Zamasu dealt with, Kahn and Zalama resumed their honeymoon trip.

This time, instead of Universe 7, Kahn chose to visit Universe 6.

"Husband, why Universe 6?" Zalama asked curiously.

"To check on that lazy pig, Champa," Kahn smirked. "And to see how my son-in-law is doing."

His trip had two objectives beyond spending time with Zalama:

First, to observe whether Universe 6's famously lazy God of Destruction, Champa, had changed his ways.

Second, to check on Lin Yu, who had been residing on Planet Sadala in Universe 6.

"Lin Yu?" Zalama raised an eyebrow, smiling. "I was wondering why I hadn't seen him in the God of Destruction realm. So he's in Universe 6?"

"Yeah," Kahn said, shaking his head in mild exasperation. "That kid didn't want to deal with Vados and the others teasing him, so he ran off to Universe 6 with Caulifla."

"Pfft…!"

Zalama burst into laughter.

Lin Yu always acted so composed, yet here he was, running away just to avoid being teased.

It was adorable.

Love was still a new experience for him, so it was natural for him to feel embarrassed.

Kahn sighed and said, "Zalama, let's head to Champa's planet first for a surprise inspection."

"Hmm? What did you just call me?"

"Uh…"

Kahn froze for a second, then quickly corrected himself with a smile. "My wife."

"That's more like it," Zalama giggled, then took Kahn's hand and transported them to Champa's world.

Universe 6 – Champa's Planet

Inside the palace of the God of Destruction, a massive feast was underway.

Champa, true to his nature, was stuffing his face with food prepared by Alice. His cheeks were packed, and his face was covered in crumbs.

Watching this scene, Alice sighed and rubbed her forehead. "Lord Champa, if you keep eating like this, you really will turn into a pig."

Champa waved her off. "You need to eat well to destroy planets properly!"

With that, he shoved an entire dinosaur egg into his mouth.

Alice narrowed her eyes. "Tell me, Lord Champa, are you really working hard? If Lord Kahn finds out you're slacking off again, he might make an example out of you."

"Destroy planets?!"

Alice wanted to laugh.

Ever since Kahn's disciplinary meeting, Champa had indeed started destroying planets… but only one or two at a time.

And after that, he'd immediately complain that he was too exhausted to continue.

Alice had tried everything to push him toward proper work ethics, but Champa simply refused to change.

"Lord Champa," Alice sighed. "At this rate, Lord Kahn might revoke your position as God of Destruction."

Champa waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, come on. Kahn gave me a thousand-year deadline. We've got plenty of time! Besides, I destroyed one more planet today than yesterday. That's progress, isn't it?"

Alice:

…That logic is unbelievable.

The way things were going, he'd probably just regress back to square one.

Suddenly—

"You're having a good time, aren't you, Champa?"

A voice rang out, laced with amusement.

At the sound of that voice, Champa's heart skipped a beat.

"Ka… Lord Kahn?!"
