Champa turned his head suddenly, only to see Kahn and Zalama standing behind him.
"Lord Kahn!"
Seeing Kahn's smiling face, Champa's heart nearly leaped out of his chest. He immediately dropped to one knee, trembling. "You're here! What an unexpected surprise…"
Kahn glanced at the lavish banquet laid out before Champa. "That's quite the feast. You must be working really hard."
"Y-Yes! Of course!"
Cold sweat dripped down Champa's forehead. He forced a guilty smile. "Lord Kahn, I am fulfilling my duties as a God of Destruction!"
As he spoke, he secretly shot a pleading look at Alice.
But Alice merely spread her hands, making it clear she had no intention of covering for him.
She knew full well that if Kahn asked, she would have no choice but to answer truthfully.
Now, Champa could only rely on his own luck.
Kahn sat down and turned to Alice. "Tell me, how has Champa been performing his duties lately?"
Champa's heart nearly stopped.
"It's over! I'm done for!"
Alice smiled and respectfully bowed her head. "Yes, Lord Kahn. Since returning from your palace, Lord Champa has been performing his duties, selecting planets for destruction each day."
Champa sighed in relief.
Maybe I still have a chance!
But then—
"However…" Alice continued.
Champa's body stiffened.
Kahn raised an eyebrow. "However?"
Alice continued with a calm expression, "Recently, Lord Champa has been slacking. He inspects two or three planets at most each day and then declares himself exhausted. To be honest, his total workload in this period may not even match what a diligent God of Destruction accomplishes in a single day."
Champa's face turned pale.
"I'm doomed!"
"So that's how it is," Kahn said, smiling faintly. He then turned to Champa. "Is what she said true?"
"Lord Kahn! Please, let me explain!"
"Oh? So you want to make excuses? Go ahead, I'm listening."
Champa swallowed hard and stammered, "L-Lord Kahn, I want to destroy more planets every day, but… look at my body! I don't have the energy! I need time to lose weight! If I get fit, I promise I'll fulfill my duties properly!"
"Oh, really?" Kahn's lips curled into a smirk. His gaze fell back on the extravagant spread of food on Champa's table. "But looking at all this, it seems to me like you're more focused on gaining weight rather than losing it."
Champa blinked, unable to refute the claim.
"Pfft!"
Alice couldn't hold back her laughter. Lord Champa, if you wanted to lie, you should have at least chosen a better time!
With a banquet of this scale right in front of him, no one would believe he was dieting—least of all Kahn!
"It's pointless to keep giving you chances."
Kahn's expression darkened. His tone turned icy.
"Champa, I gave you time to change, but you clearly have no intention of improving. Do you want to repeat the Tournament of Power? Because of your laziness, do you want the entire Universe 6 to suffer again?"
Champa trembled. His ears rang from Kahn's harsh words. His face turned ashen.
"And don't think I didn't hear what you just said to Alice," Kahn continued, his voice cold and unyielding. "Because I gave you a thousand years, you thought you could slack off, didn't you?"
"Now, let's make this fair."
Kahn turned to Zalama. "Check Beerus' recent work status and report to me."
"Understood, Lord Kahn," Zalama replied.
After a brief moment, she reported back. "Lord Beerus has destroyed an average of twenty planets per day. The civilizations on those planets were all deemed to have little potential for development. Their existence was dragging down the overall progress of Universe 7."
Champa felt like his soul had left his body.
Beerus was actually working harder than me?!
"Do you feel ashamed?" Kahn's gaze was piercing. "You and Beerus are twins, yet the difference between you is night and day."
Champa had no words.
Kahn stood up, his presence overwhelming. "A lazy God of Destruction, no matter how many chances he's given, will never change. From this moment forward, I strip you of your title and all rights as the God of Destruction of Universe 6!"
Champa's eyes widened in horror.
"This planet, this palace, no longer belongs to you. Alice, erase everything that ties Champa to his former position—including Champa himself."
"Understood, Lord Kahn," Alice said with a serene smile. She turned to Champa. "I warned you many times, but you refused to change. Now, I must carry out Lord Kahn's orders."
"Please leave."
Champa's mouth opened, but no words came out.
He had no choice but to accept his fate.
His shoulders slumped in despair, and he silently turned to leave.
Alice watched as he walked away, bowing slightly as a final farewell.
Once Champa was gone, Alice turned back to Kahn.
"Lord Kahn, now that you've removed Champa from his position, who will take his place as the God of Destruction of Universe 6?"
Kahn smiled. "I already have someone in mind. Follow me."
With that, he took Zalama and Alice to Planet Sadala, the home of the Saiyans in Universe 6.
Unlike Universe 7's Saiyans, who were known for their ruthless nature, the Saiyans of Universe 6 had a more peaceful disposition. They even had an official force, the Sadala Defense Squad, dedicated to maintaining peace.
Despite being a parallel race, their philosophies and survival instincts differed greatly from their Universe 7 counterparts.
On a vast plain outside the city…
"Hakai!"
Caulifla raised her palm toward a hill. With a burst of invisible energy, the entire hill was reduced to dust.
Watching the destruction, she smirked proudly. "How was that, Shin?"
Shin—who stood beside her—crossed his arms. "Not bad, but it's still too weak. You're holding back. You need to clear your mind of distractions."
Then, he demonstrated.
"Hakai!"
BOOM!
A massive crater, spanning hundreds of meters, formed in an instant.
Caulifla's jaw dropped.
Kahn landed nearby, watching the two with a knowing smile.
"This might be interesting."
