"You're awake?!" Aruna exclaimed as Ardan opened his eyes after a long night of rest.

Ardan had fallen asleep after receiving all the necessary treatments. His body was feverish, and the medication had made him drowsy, even though he remained restless throughout. Aruna had stayed by his side the entire time, watching over him, which allowed Ardan to finally rest peacefully.

"What time is it, Run?"

"Three in the afternoon."

Aruna quickly sat beside the bed, holding a glass of water in her hand as Ardan tried to sit up.

"I slept the whole day?!" Ardan asked, trying to shift his body to the edge of the bed.

"Mmhm," Aruna nodded. "Your body’s still warm..."

"Worried?" Ardan asked teasingly, his expression playful as he looked at his petite wife.

"Do you even need to ask?!" Aruna snapped a little, annoyed by his teasing expression.
