Chapter 103: Why the Blush

"What are you thinking about?" Kate couldn't help but pinch Ivy's face when she saw her staring blankly, her eyes unblinking.

Kate had never indulged in such playful gestures before.

"I was wondering, is the you right now real? Or am I dreaming?" Ivy grasped Kate's fingers, gently nibbling them like a puppy. Afraid she might have hurt her, she softly licked the spot she had bitten.

Kate's already upright posture straightened even more. Her expression remained as stoic as ever, like a cold statue, but her throat betrayed her, swallowing awkwardly twice, and the tips of her ears gradually flushed red.

The events of last night were still vivid in her mind. Every sense was exquisitely sensitive; just a hint of stimulation could set her nerves ablaze, recalling feelings she'd never experienced before.
