Seeing the dire situation unfold, Shin had no choice but to grit his teeth and charge forward. At the same time, he pulled out a small water gun.
Doomsday paid no attention to Shin's approach, continuing his struggle against Superman in a deadly heat vision clash. Taking a deep breath, Shin deactivated his intangibility and fired a gentle stream of water at the monstrous Kryptonian.
With a loud bang, the hulking, demonic figure of Doomsday suddenly shrank into a black pig—and was promptly smashed aside by Superman.
Clark, still dizzy from the intense battle, shook his head in confusion. "What just happened? Did Doomsday release some kind of psychic attack? I swear I just saw him turn into a black piglet."
"You saw right," Shin said, twitching at the absurdity of the situation. "He really did turn into a pig… and he's already charging at you again!"
Charging toward them was a one-meter-tall black piglet, its body still covered in bony protrusions, its red eyes glowing with fury. Despite its ridiculous new form, the creature still radiated a sense of menace.
Shin knew exactly why. The water gun he had just used was filled with water from the infamous "Legendary Spring of Drowned Black Piglet" of Jusenkyō.
In another world, it had once transformed Ryoga Hibiki into a tiny pet-sized pig, but Doomsday's transformation was… different. At one meter tall, he was much larger, proving that even Jusenkyō's cursed springs could have varying effects depending on the individual.
Still, a pig was a pig. Even if it was a Doomsday pig.
Although its strength and speed had diminished slightly, its Kryptonian genes and destructive nature remained unchanged. In a flash, the pig lunged at Superman, nearly knocking him aside.
Shin was also struck, but he had already activated his intangibility, allowing the attack to harmlessly pass through him.
Doomsday, now a furious black pig, let out a deep roar—though to Shin's ears, it sounded more like the cry of a farm pig.
Superman quickly reacted, grabbing the pig before it could cause more chaos.
For Shin, Doomsday—whether in his monstrous or pig form—was still a terrifyingly strong opponent. But for Superman, it was as if a world-class boxer had suddenly shrunk into a toddler. The fight had become significantly easier.
The transformation had also stripped Doomsday of his arms, leaving only four short legs to flail around. Now, his only real means of attack were his heat vision and brute strength.
"What do we do with him?" Superman asked, his eyes narrowing. "If we kill him, will he just resurrect again?"
That was a valid concern. Shin frowned. "I'll go find out!"
In a flash of lightning, he disappeared, reappearing beside Batman.
"Hey, do you have any more kryptonite weapons left?" Shin asked.
Batman, still recovering from the earthquake, responded in a deep voice, "No. That was my last one."
Shin narrowed his eyes. "Be honest. Do you have anything else?"
Batman let out a resigned sigh. "I swear, I don't have anything else."
'Damn it.'
Shin couldn't help but compare this version of Batman to his comic counterpart. In the comics, Batman had a vast collection of kryptonite variants, each with unique properties. He was always prepared for situations like this.
But this guy? Nothing.
"I shouldn't have expected anything from you," Shin muttered, rubbing his temples as he tried to think of another plan.
The usual methods of dealing with Doomsday were out of the question. That meant it was time to get creative.
Sealing techniques from the shinobi world wouldn't work. Even the most powerful ones, like the Reaper Death Seal, would likely fail. After all, Doomsday had survived against beings with far more powerful soul-based attacks.
Shin did not doubt that if someone tried to use a Death Reaper seal on him, Doomsday would probably just rip the grim reaper apart.
This wasn't just speculation. The world of superheroes had plenty of beings specializing in soul manipulation—and they had all failed against Doomsday.
"If ninjutsu won't work, then I'll have to rely on Devil Fruits."
Among all the Paramecia-class Devil Fruits, there were a few with one-hit kill effects. The first one that came to Shin's mind was the Hobby-Hobby Fruit, but he immediately dismissed the idea.
While it was true that the Hobby-Hobby Fruit could turn people into toys, its effectiveness against Doomsday was questionable. Even if it did work, he would still have his monstrous strength.
The real problem wasn't just his physical abilities—it was his immortality.
'Wait… I still have that fruit!'
Shin quickly checked his Devil Fruit inventory. A moment later, he swapped to a different ability, his mind racing with possibilities.
Meanwhile, Superman continued to pin down the furious Doomsday pig, whose red eyes were flaring with heat vision, carving deep, molten scars into the ground.
Shin didn't waste another second. In a blur, he reappeared beside Superman. A pink flame ignited in his palm.
Sensing the danger, Doomsday let out a panicked squeal and struggled desperately. But this time, Superman had the upper hand. With his superior strength, he kept the pig pinned down.
No matter how much Doomsday thrashed, it was useless. The pink flame touched his body.
In an instant, the pig grew larger—transforming back into a Kryptonian corpse.
Superman let out a long breath, staring at the lifeless form before him. His expression darkened. "...Zod."
Lying before them was none other than General Zod—the very same body that had been transformed into Doomsday.
And the power Shin had just used? The Return-Return Fruit, a Devil Fruit that could reverse time for any target.
Doomsday might have been an evolving, nearly indestructible monster, but he had only existed for less than a day.
Even though Shin hadn't fully mastered the Return-Return Fruit, he could already rewind a target's age by ten years.
Even if Doomsday had some resistance to time-based abilities, Shin only needed a fraction of its power to erase him.
With his existence undone, Doomsday's infamous regeneration ability could no longer function.
"It's finally over," Shin exhaled, surveying the battlefield.
The once-solid ground had been reduced to a cratered wasteland as if a massive meteorite had struck. In the distance, plumes of smoke rose from the ruined city.
'Man, this world is a mess. I just got here, and I'm already in a battle like this?'
