chapter 4 The great escape

Okay so maybe the title is a little bit of lie it wasn't really that great of an escape but I still managed to get away.

After finally turning on my camo Powers I do my best to jump directly behind Red Hulk and I just start running at ridiculously fast speeds trying to keep distance. I know for a fact that other kinds of visions such as thermal vision and any semblance of gamma detection would most likely give away my location still. Trying to make as much distance as possible would hopefully mess with the scanners and allow me to get away if at the very least for a bit allowing me to regroup and think of a different strategy. My thought process is quickly interrupted by the fact of another missile coming my way. I look behind me to see it coming in way too close for me to be able to properly Dodge so I do my best to just jump as hard as I can and hopefully get out of the blast radius by the time it detonates. I was half successful which was better than nothing wasn't like last time in which I blacked out for a few moments and landed on a plateau but I still got pushed forward from the blast. Other than toasting up my tootsies and shoving me a decent ways further away than what I normally would have went with just super jump I was fine but in mid-air not a good thing when you hear the sound of three more missiles showing up. I knew for a fact that a bums back is much more durable and shock absorbing than his front so I try my best to curl up and I keep curling up until I managed to turn myself into a ball and get launched by all three missiles hitting me at the exact f****** time.

Feels weird when I exit the Shockwave of the explosion it's almost like I can feel vibrations while I'm curled up almost giving me something akin to echolocation so long as something is thumping around and with me essentially rolling on the ground as soon as I hit it I get a 360° view of just as far as I'd say I'd be able to see normally. I feel my camouflage drop which probably doesn't matter very much now to that the fact that they are still aiming missiles at me so I don't worry about it too much,but I realize that I need a different strategy. As I continue to roll away at much faster speed than what I would normally do while sprinting in my new body I try to think of what other powers A-bomb has.

Super strength

Enhance durability

Minor super speed

Camouflage

The ability to act like an armadillo on steroids

The ability to move the spikes almost like a saw on my body...

That last one might be exactly what I need. I start moving all the drills along my spine rapidly allow me to essentially almost act like a buzzsaw as I dig through the Earth.

Drilling through the Earth is weird I am almost powderizing anything that I come in contact with as I continue my trick further down into the ground trying to shake off the army.

My seismic sense as I've dubbed it tells me exactly where I am going, it feels like when I'm having it go through a medium other than air my range gets bigger and has more detail I can feel as Red Hulk is super jumping to where I made the hole to escape.

"God damn it!!"General thunderbolt Ross says as he tries to follow through the whole but can't fit so he decides to be a petty b**** and aims his gun barrel at the hole.

Who would have thought it isn't normal bullets but rather superheated plasma. How do I know this, because everything is turning to glass as it continues to travel down the tunnel to where I am. The heat is uncomfortable but as I continue to drill away it's slowly but surely lessening its heat the further away I go.
