Rachel POV
It was a perfect day for a movie marathon and I was so engrossed in one of the scenes when my phone rang, shattering the silence. Initially, I ignored it, but the persistent ringing was unbearable. I reluctantly picked up, only to be discouraged by the caller. Frustrated, I wondered why he wouldn't stop texting and calling me. His relentless attempts to reach me were annoying, and I couldn't help but feel irritated.
I hesitantly answered the call, and Olufemi's deep, rich voice resonated through my ear. "Hey, Rachel," he said, his tone smooth and familiar. I responded with a hint of sarcasm, "Hello, Olufemi." He chuckled, acknowledging the undertone. "I'm surprised you finally picked up," he teased, pausing for a moment. I waited, expecting him to continue, my curiosity piqued.
