I’m a Doorman at an Assassin’s Hotel

At that time, I had just lost my job, was so broke I could barely afford food, and the few crumpled bills left in my wallet seemed to be fighting each other. Just then, I spotted a job ad for a hotel doorman with the enticing words: “High pay, easy work, free meals, and lodging!” I felt a surge of excitement—being a doorman? Just standing by the door and greeting people? That’s easy!



But on my first day, I realized this place was a total nightmare. Each guest was scarier than the last! Some wore all black with daggers on their belts, others walked in with sunglasses and hats pulled low, and one guy even carried a black bag, from which a few shell casings casually fell out.
