Emma was leaning against the shelf. As she couldn't sleep, she chose to go to the library and do some reading. Reading a book, her tears suddenly stream down unconsciously. She wiped the tears with her hand before staring at her fingers.
She wasn't trying to suppress her emotions, just ignore them, hoping they would disappear on their own as time went by. But now, no matter how much she tried, they were spilling out uncontrollably.
Leaning against the shelf, her tears falling freely now, the weight in her chest growing heavier. She wiped her eyes with trembling fingers, trying to steady her breath, but it only came in shallow gasps.
Her emotions, the ones she had tried so hard to ignore, had finally overpowered her. No matter how much she tried to push them aside, they surged forward, refusing to be silenced any longer. She pressed a hand to her chest, as if the pressure there could somehow ease the ache.
