Naruto: Betrayed From The Start
Year 32 of Konoha.
It was lunchtime at the Ninja Academy. Kenshi, a newcomer from Earth, accepted a rice ball from Minato, whose smile was as bright and warm as the sun. As he took a bite, Kenshi couldn't help but think about Minato's tragic fate.
"To change the ninja world, I need to start by saving the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato," he thought to himself.
But fate had other plans. Before Kenshi could even begin his mission, Minato who noticed something off about Kenshi. Turned him in to the Anbu, Konoha's secret police. Kenshi was then sent to a special interrogation room, a place reserved for spies.
Kenshi inside the room, stared blankly. Betrayal. He had been betrayed by the very person he intended to save. His original plan was in ruins. Now, he had a new mission: Destory Konoha.

Author, delete similar 1-star comments. These are either ignorant people used to reading machine-translated stories where the protagonist is overpowered and omniscient, or people who don't want your work to reach the top. For those who haven't read it yet and are checking the comments to decide if it's worth reading: It definitely is. The world is well-built, and the relationships between the characters are well explained. The supernatural element in the form of chakra is described exceptionally well. All the techniques and the logic behind them that the protagonist learns always have a proper origin, rather than being granted by some "golden finger" pulled out of thin air like in some Chinese stories. The characters are well-developed, and the text is enjoyable to read. Regarding the excessive cruelty, I can only say that it's quite realistic. In a world of endless war, betrayal, and violence, it's hard to imagine kind-hearted people willing to help you. Everyone pursues their own goals or desires. Hiruzen is no exception here; he's portrayed very realistically. There’s none of that typical dynamic between Hiruzen and Danzo found in 99% of fanfics: "I’m the Hokage!" "You’ll regret this!" Sometimes characters are depicted a bit naively, such as Mito when she trusted Hiruzen, but overall, I’m satisfied and eagerly awaiting new chapters.

I don't want to spoil it for people who want to read this but I will say IMO that all the good parts of this novel has already passed. I haven't read the entire novel but I read enough to feel like its super monotonous.

the sub 2k words per chapter is making this feel like a drag. it didnt even make me read it properly. i just skimmed and i was still able to follow the plot. finished it under 30 minutes as of currently theres 22 chapters released. chapter 10+ is where he'll get betrayed. chapter 20+ is where he'll get tortured. between all those theres lotsa exposition and pov changes. if u wanna read this, wait until theres 50 chapters out maybe. webnovel format being trickle feeding is such bullshit
What's the name of the original? As this is clearly a transition of a Chinese story? Or maybe a continuation of a dropped story from someone who isn't a Chinese author

Dear author, You have made me realize something that I've always needed to know. I have read some fanfics where I was interested from the beginning and got bored in the next chapters. But this fic didn't disappoint me. What I've learned is that I like fanfic/novels with revenge, pain, and mc getting tortured for the plot. With this realization it is more likely that I will come across a fic where I would be interested in. I am currently in ch 45. And my power stone shall be yours from tomorrow till the last day I use this app.(I have another fic where I've given them 1.4k power stone and it's on hiatus from a year ago so giving it to you would be better.) at first it was extremely boring and slowpaced to the point that I skipped 20 chapters out of boredom to find out that the plot didn't even progress... it was really annoying... but it's kinda readable right now to be honest.. the story got some improvements over time... well.. keep up the good work💯✨
This book is very well researched. He will say that he is revealing himself slowly, but quite realistically. Overall good. As far as I remember, if there were rebirth into other worlds like Naruto, 99.9% of the time everyone would end up the same as the main character of this novel.
