Chapter 50:

Lila

On my way to the little park, someone caught my attention on my back. "Lila?" Where are you heading to? I make a turn to see who's coming behind me.

It was a man who once said, "Lila?" if I can't be with you, no one else. I pretended as if I never met him. I would rather not cause trouble to myself.

But, to be honest, I never met with him and I don't know where he knows me, and how he knows me. He is the only one who can explain that, and I would rather not ask because I'm not interested in going further with him.

However, I continued on the way to the little park close to my apartment.

I requested Alex to join me there since the café seemed overly public and suffocating. Following all that occurred, I required room to inhale, to contemplate. Things are already fixed inside the room.

The streetlights' orange light created elongated shadows on the vacant benches, and the sound of leaves crunching under my boots broke the stillness.
