ANNA POV

I made sure that I wasn't seen by any of the guards because it would get me into a lot of trouble.

Twenty minutes later, I could see a figure coming towards me. Even though it was dark, I could make out that it was a man.

Once he was close enough, he smiled at me, kissing the top of my hand.

"It's a pleasure to work for such a beautiful princess like Anna."

I quickly withdrew my hand from his grasp.

"Yes, it's nice to see you too, Cole, but let's focus on the task at hand. Did you bring the exact same looking horse?"

"Are you doubting my skills, Anna? You should know that I would do anything for you."

"Then where's the horse?"

"Eager, are we?"

I sighed deeply.

"I don't want anyone to suspect a thing about the swap. Not even Karliah will suspect the swap. Now go get the horse."

A few minutes later, Cole came back with the exact same horse, except that this was a wild horse; it was untamed and very dangerous.

"This is perfect, Cole, thank you."
