Sundown arrived and I, Seinaru, and Devon went hunting. It had taken us three hours to find anything worthy, and I had been the one to kill it—a proud moment of course.

The ladies took care of the rest, and we could eat.

What a refreshing day it had been.

Soon, we prepared our bed of leaves to sleep. We would wake up early the next day to resume our journey.

Hours into our sleep a sound awoke me, and although I remained mostly unmoving, I caught sight of Eiko's shadow vanishing into the woods. The dancing flames were to thank for this—made my Eiko's Craft; they couldn't go out easily.

For some reason, however, I felt an urge to follow her, which I did. She had been going out like this for the past three days, and though I guessed what she went to do, I could not conclude until I saw.

Following her up a path that turned into a cliff, I watched her sit cross-legged at its edge. That cliff provided a better view of the terrain up ahead.
