Mob war (Part 2)

Angelini: "Yes, right, it could have only been the ICD. Now that we solved the riddle, you could let me go."

Angelini asks, fear is basically written all over his face. He looks at Dons and Yuri for a response, but all he gets is nothing.

Yuri: "We are picking a fight with the empire and possibly the Kagetsu Kingdom as well; do you really want to risk it?"

Yuri ignores Angelini, and so does Dons. Angelini's sweat drops from his face to the ground; scared, he tries to get their attention.

Angelini: "Yes? Am I free now? Do you listen?"

Dons: "This would be bad for the Crimson Court, but I have an idea."

Yuri: "Yeah? Does it involve the guy that has spied on us for a while now?"

Hearing that, Manu is frightened. Yuri turns in Manu's direction, smiling wickedly at him and waving at him.

Manu knows that attacking them without knowing her ability could cost his life, but he also knows that doing nothing will also mean the end for him.

Manu runs in her direction; already nearly face-to-face with her, he walks past her at Angelini, freeing him from his bondages.

Angelini: "The White Flash?"

Manu: "GO."

At that moment, Yuri runs at Angelini with a wicked smile spreading from one cheek to another and her arm stretched out in his direction. Manu, who did not notice her, gasps when Yuri's hand touches Angelini's face.

Manu, who is about to run at Yuri, notices that the ground underneath him has disappeared, falling into a hole filled with ash.

Yuri: "Where did you think you were going?"

Angelini, fearing for his life, stares at Yuri's pitch-black eyes, seeing nothing but evil and himself reflecting through her eye-lens.

Manu quickly gets back up, running in Angelini and Yuri's direction, but it is too late.

Yuri: "Goodbye."

Yuri bites her lips, making blood flow out of her mouth, dyeing her evil smile red. Angelini's eyes turn to Manu, who runs directly at him, but suddenly the only thing that remains from Angelini is nothing but ash.

Manu directly runs into Angelini, who had turned into ash, completely being covered in it, falling to his knees.

Yuri laughs; her laugh gets louder once she sees Manu, who looks at his hands, covered in ash.

Manu: "You…"

Yuri's laugh only gets louder.

Manu: "You are sick; this is sick; what is wrong with you?"

Yuri: "What? Don't you like what I did to him? His life was fueled with crime anyways; you should thank me for getting rid of this scumbag."

Manu: "But, but not like…this, killing him, you are the same as he was."

Yuri: "Anyways, you are the Silver Flash; finally I get to meet you."

Manu: "And you are?"

Yuri: "This is rude, but we never met before, so I guess it is fair if we make a little game out of it. Hit me, and I will tell you who I am."

Manu doesn't wait another second; he quickly gets up and runs at Yuri, making all ash disappear from his body.

But then Manu notices the outstretched hand, perfectly aligned in his running course. Trying to dodge it last second, he trips over his foot, landing on the ground, away from her.

Yuri laughs again at Manu while wiping away the blood from her mouth with her dark clothes.

Manu: "I know her abilities; she must have an ash-type awakening, which makes her extremely dangerous," he says to himself.

Manu: "And the other guy was the base commander I knocked out, but they know who I am, so this is a problem. I have to finish them here and now," he says again to himself.

Dons takes out his handgun, shooting at Manu, but Manu quickly disappears from his sight, appearing behind him out of sudden from his view.

Dons quickly turns around, trying to shoot another bullet at Manu, but he pushes Dons hand with the gun to the ceiling, making him shoot against it.

Manu then tries to hit Dons, but he quickly moves to the back, dodging a dark spear made out of ash thrown at him from Yuri.

Yuri creates another spear out of her hand, making it look like she is pulling it out of her palm, before throwing it again at Manu.

Manu moves away, letting the spear hit the wall, piercing through the thick metal.

Yuri: "You really are quick, Silver Flash."

Manu: "Thanks, ash awakening lady."

Yuri: "So you found out what my ability is; cool."

Yuri touches the wall behind her, smiling at Dons and then at Manu.

Dons: "Are you crazy? You are going to kill us all."

Yuri: "Let us find out."

Yuri smiles again, laughing loud and hard while turning the walls into ash, making the whole building collapse into itself.

…

Jenap: "Have you heard from Manu yet? Tommy"

Tommy: "Manu? Weren't you the one who gave him the 'day off'?"

Jenap: "I have this weird feeling that he is ignoring my order."

Tommy: "Not trying to make anything worse for you, but what did you expect by giving him a 'day off'? That he would run home and spend the time forgetting the day?"

Jenap: "Shit, I should have known better. Why does he always have to make my job harder than it already is?"

Tommy: "That's Manu for you."

???: "SAC Jenap, it's important."

Jenap: "Yes? Special Agent Caramilo

Caramilo: "The outpost of the Crimson Court has been attacked."

Jenap: "What? By whom?"

Tommy: "I can guess who it was."

Jenap: "Shit, this idiot. Quick, send out a group to investigate."

Special agent in charge Jenap walks out of the ICD outpost main building with special agent Tommy and special agent Caramilo, followed by a group of agents. Then, gunshots are fired in their direction, hitting at least two agents.

Tommy: "Quick, to me."

Tommy goes down to the ground, touching it and making thick walls out of wood appear in front of them, giving them cover.

Jenap: "Can anyone tell me who is attacking us?"

She shouts, but her voice is overshadowed by the loud gunshots, hitting the wooden wall behind which she is taking cover.
