Old hag

The children's laughter could be heard in the yard as they played around with other children. After several days of staying in the medicine room with the Laker's family she was already well accustomed to the children innocence

Their laughter, their giggles and the comforting atmosphere that brought the feeling of home

Her eyes trailed to the rows of poisonous flowers she had, had to work on all night

There was progress but not enough progress she would have wanted "I knew you didn't sleep all night" Lebron chuckled as he walked in with a bowl of congee which he handed to Zosia "thank you" she sighed as she slowly drank the congee directly drool the bowl. It wasn't a very thick paste yet it wasn't light but easy to swallow

Plus the taste was good

What was better than good food even without a good night's rest.

It had to be food!

" your husband will be coming to pick you up" Lebron informed her with a soft sigh, having her company the past few days was great. He had also seen how close Athena was to Zosia compared to Winnie

He himself had grown attached to his obedient patient

"When do I leave?" Zosia asked as she finished the last bit of congee. She couldn't stop herself from licking her lips in satisfaction

At her words Lebron was taken aback, realizing she hadn't objected to the marriage from the beginning "he's a good man" Lebron assured her, he couldn't tell how she felt about the marriage which made his heart ache a bit for her.

As a father to 3 children and grandchildren he wasn't one go force his children into marriage instead each one could choose whom ever they liked to be with however society was different hence he had no choice or say in this matter

If Riezekiel hadn't saved her at that time she could have died and worse if it was someone else whom he didn't trust. He didn't even want to think about it anymore

"He'll come once he's free" Lebron added and Zosia nodded as she continued to work on the poisonous flowers. Lebron say by her side watching her as she skillfully worked

Like she had done it so many times, it had been engraved in her brain, his wide eyes flickered in amusement watching Zosia adeptly handle the plants with a balance of spiritual power, mental power and rustic tools he had no idea about

Hours past like a blur however Lebron couldn't tear his eyes off the master piece Zosia was making even he as a healer couldn't efficiently handle this things like she did. Even in his prime

"Sister in law" Athena rushed in a bit anxious having not seen Zosia all day. "What are you being anxious for! This old man won't harm the child!" Lebron snapped angrily, having his moment ruined by his daughter in law whom he loved the most couldn't curb his anger

Zosia glanced at the dramatic old man in confusion before turning to Athena who has a steaming bowl of hot food in her hands, the fragrant aroma from the bowl made Zosia smile a bit, her eyes twinkled with a hint of mirth. "What did you make sister in law?" She asked directly as Athena set the bowl on the table with a hint of pride "sea food noodles and buns! I had granny Polly teach me" Athena blushed "you went to that stinking old woman!" Lebron almost had an heart attack and go this Athena surprisingly giggled

Zosia as the bystander grabbed her bowl and begun to slurp on the noodles while the old man scolded Athena who only had a smile on her face and would giggle occasionally at the old man's words

Was this what a family felt like?

That Zosia couldn't tell but she couldn't deny the fact that she loved the comfort of the little banter. It was in fact surprisingly calming

"Father granny Polly did say she missed your calming tea" Athena pouted as she stared at the old man with watery eyes

"She did?" Lebron raised a brow as he stared hard at Athena trying to figure of it what she was saying was true

Damn that old hag! He cursed under his breathe

"Mm…. she did say it, I heard her clearly" Athena nodded sheepishly to this Zosia rolled her eyes

"Hmpf! I'll only be generous to that old hag this one time" Lebron snorted as he stood up aams begun packing several bags of hand made herbal tea

"You already promised to give me tea" Zosia blocked Lebron's hand from taking any more tea

Staring at the wicker basket which had over a dozen herbal tea packets she felt a pan gin her heart

"When did I promise you that" Lebron was puzzled, he couldn't remember promising anyone his rewarded herbal tea

Zosia's lips twitched as her cold eyes rested on the foolish old man

Love smitten fool! She snorted in her heart

This time she didn't even bother exchanging words with him and directly took out all the herbal tea sachets from the wicker basket

Such high grade tea shouldn't be wasted on a wrinkly old hag playing hard to get

"They are Polly's!" Lebron protested but seeing those cold blood red eyes which screamed inhumane terror, he shut his mouth

"You'll give the old lady two sachets. If she doesn't like you any more then you won't give her any in the future" Zosia's words were straight forward. She had no intent exchanging words with a love struck old man

"Who says I like her, she's so old and..." Lebron struggled to finish his sentence earning a snort from Zosia "and?" She raised a brow, with a hint of mockery in her eyes

"Forget it, I'm a generous old man!" He took the two sachets of tea and stormed out almost running away from Zosia

So scary! He sighed patting his he waving beating heart

He could almost hear his heart thundering from his throat

"I'm sure old poppy likes him too" Athena laughed this time unrestrained feeling immense joy at witnessing the old man's embarrassment

"He's so old can he even function" Winnie snorted from the side. Athena rolled her eyes in her heart at the unwanted guest but her face still held a smile "sister… I packed some meat for the children" with that Athena successfully pulled Winnie away giving Zosia the time to raid the old man's herbal tea

So what if she wasn't a beautiful, sexy old hag

She could also drink the tea and force the old man to give her more
