Belly full of grievance

"I'm not your brother Rivana! That woman birthed you and I from different fathers! I've ignored you for so long cause I didn't want to deal with you but I won't tolerate you insulting my wife" Riezekiel's voice was cold and his eyes stared daggers at Rivana

"Brother…..," Rivana trembled glaring hatefully at Zosia.

It was all her fault!

"You haven't learnt your lesson have you?" He raised a brow his cold eyes rested on Rivana' dark form. If looks could kill she would probably be dead by now

"Brother.... I'm looking out for you as your sister! You can't be fooled by her" Rivana spike righteously

Staring at Zosia's smooth skin compared to her tanned skin, she felt more anger

"Leave" Riezekiel pointed to the door, his cold eyes rested on Rivana with an oppressive aura which made Rivana tremble "But brother…." Rivana pouted her eyes still glared hatefully at Zosia

Who sat munching on her energy bars

Whatever Rivana was up to had nothing to do with her, she couldn't waste her time and energy on things of no meaning

"I just came to help you clean up, as your sister I care about you the most" Rivana pursed her lips, her eyes taking in Zosia's visage! That beautiful skin like the finest milk, that face so beautiful even the gods and goddesses would take a step back in awe and that posture so graceful, it was outwardly burned her eyes, jealousy surged in from the depths of her heart

"It was never your duty to take care of my apartment Rivana and don't think for the slightest that I have no idea what you've been up to!" His expression chilled even more, he had seen through the camera's how z Rivana stole his supplies time and time again yet his ration, supplies and even his salary was shared between the siblings. He could only keep a meager share as a lone man

And now that he had a wife, his savings were barely enough

"I have children to feed brother! They are growing and need a lot of nutrients….., especially now that winter is approaching! Vials are expensive to come by" Rivana clenched her fists as her eyes landed on Zosia who calmly sipped her energy drink leisurely

Without a care in the world

"My wife would be in charge of everything that concerns me! I don't need your double gestures and if I find out you're doing something shady you'd be disciplined according to the law" he threatened and Rivana's legs buckled

He meant it

"I'm your sister" she yelled, her eyes glistened with tears which rolled down her eyes. He was single yet he had so much food!

"I only get three bags of ration and two and half had always been shared between you and your brother for your family! While I keep quarter a bag for myself yet you still eye the little I keep for myself! Are you trying to make my wife starve to death!" Riezekiel was pissed, his eyes held so much killing intent, if Rivana was an enemy she would have died a thousand times over

"She's not a fit wife! She can't work or give birth! Look at Wang Niu! She's so white, tender and lazy selling herself off to men for supplies! While we go out to work for points! She your wife hasn't done anything!" Rivana protested

Damn it why could Zosia enjoy all the good life

It was frustrating

"And you can work? If you can provide for your family henceforth cause I'm not sharing a single grain with independent folks like you" his words were fine

Talking so much made his throat itch and the large wolf was starting to get irritated from the banter

Rivana's face darkened, the money and supplies Riezekiel shared to her family was always handy. Their family had their own supplies shared to them adding to the supplies riezekiel shared them and the ones she's took away.

Her family was living a good life

She was already chubby and her kids were fat from good nourishment. The little points she made from manual labor, she invested into buying herself beautiful clothes, shoes and rogue powder to make herself more beautiful

She had no savings and with the winter approaching she could only try her luck here by taking things when he was away.

In the end she left the apartment empty handed with a belly full of grievances

"I'm sorry...."Riezekiel apologized as he ran his hand through his hair and Zosia nodded

Her eyes searched his, her years of combat hightened her senses. He wasn't simple, however whatever secrets he had, had nothing to do with her

"I'm fine" she assured him however he pulled her into his arms inhaling her scent "I won't let anyone harm you" he kissed her hand softly the scent of flowers and herbs on her was soothing, his brows creased

"I'm sleepy" he muttered his cold voice was soft and fragile, Zosia helped him to the bedroom and laid him down

Not long after he slept

Her eyes drank the visage of his calm sleeping figure, which was a stark contrast to the cold and mature aura he exuded on a daily. She could tell the weight of everything was pressing down on him

Cause once upon a time, her life had been this way

Protecting others but the human heart was wicked

And she wouldn't let anyone take him down that path cause he was her husband for life

She tucked him under the covers and headed out after changing into fresh clothings

"She's so shameless!" The women huddled together outside scoffed as they went about their work

Their eyes glared hatefully at Zosia, their jealousy surging but she didn't glance at them for a second and only proceeded to the greenhouse

"Cedric..." Iris called softly as she walked over to the big tanned man, but before she could reach him someone else was already in his arms

Her fists clenched tightly

"Wife…"Cedric called fondly as he snuggled into Calista's arms. The warmth of her skin a subtle reassurance that everything was going to be okay

"The children have been waiting for you all night, we were worried" Calista pouted softly as she led him into the apartment

The joyous laughter of the four children (Cyrus who was 10 , Candice who was 8, Collin who was 6 and Chris who was 4) sounded grating in Iris's ears

She clenched her fist tightly to suppress her anger

Cedric could have been here's!

It was all Calista's fault for stealing the man she loved!

She had even joined the army to be close to him so he could notice her!

She had done everything for him

Yet all Calista had to do was be beautiful and smile and she had him!

The man she had worked so hard all this years for!

"Iris..." Travis called seeing Iris about to lose her mind, his heart ached seeing her like this

"It's no use Travis! What's a promotion when I'm nothing in his eyes" Iris sighed in self mockery, damn she hated herself!

"Iris….." Travis clenched his jaw unable to offer her words of comfort

He could only watch her wallow in her pains

"I'll set off to the Zerg nest with the others, watch over the base Travis" with that Iris walked away
