"Mommy why did we leave daddy behind?" Liliana asked softly and Athena clenched her fist "Daddy has things to do at home okay" Athena forced a smile on her face as she cradled her daughter in her arms

Her sons Liam and Lance stared at her awkwardly especially Lance who could tell his mother was lying

"Is this where we'll be living now?" Liam asked as he stared out the windows at the rows of soldiers patroling the streets

This sight was new to him as well as his siblings

"Its safe here! I'm the future you all have to listen to mommy there are terrifying monsters out there" Athena bit her lips as fear gnawed at her. She had three children to protect

She kept reminding herself

"Like the ones grandpa talk about?" Lance asked and Athena subconsciously clenched her fist

How she wished her children could live a soft comfortable life not one in which they had to be lectured about monsters from toddlerhood

"They are more terrifying baby….. in the future you have to listen to mom and your aunt Zosia as well as your uncle the lieutenant" Athena explained softly

"You mean commander mommy?" Liliana blinked her big eyes innocently. Athena's heart aches at how brave her three year old daughter was "yes he protects the country" she smiled pulling all three children into a tight hug

"Mommy I'm hungry" Liliana laughed softly easing the built up tension allowing everyone's mind to relax for the second

"I'll make dinner quickly" Athena walked to the kitchen area and begun making dinner, her heart had calmed down significantly

Yet she knew she had to train her powers to get stronger and stronger if she really wanted to protect those she loved dear

"Brother..." Liam called softly, the fear in his eyes mirrored that of Lance's

"Don't be scared Liam, we can get stronger too" Lance bit his lips summoning a ball of fire in his hands and Liam did the same except his ball was water

Watching Liliana play by herself happily, the weight of the news pressed heavily on them

Luckily Lebron had always thought them how to use their powers hence cultivating their powers was no big deal

They both sat cross legged in meditation and begun cultivating their powers

Zosia's lashes fluttered open slowly revealing a pair of fiery red orbs

The warmth of the morning sun cast a faint glow on her pearly white skin, she sighed as she slowly stood up before walking to the bathroom where she had herself a warm bath

The warmth of the bath and the scent of the soap liquid gave her a sense of calm

She unconsciously shut her eyes, reveling the warmth of the bath and the ease it brought her

After a warm bath she alas draped a robe over her pale skin and walked to the kitchen where she made herself breakfast

"Wife…." Riezekiel called softly once the door unlocked, Zosia tilted her head taking in his tires form with large eye bags under his eyes

"Husband" she walked over briskly handing him the cup of warm herbal tea in her hands

"Did you sleep well?" He asked as he sipped the tea, a low sigh unconsciously escaped his lips as his eyes trailed the outline of the robe and her barely covered cleavage

His breathe hitched

"I should be asking you that" she replied as she walked to the kitchen to make him breakfast whilst munching on her granola bowl

"Cover up properly" his gaze darkened slightly and his ears reddened. Zosia on the other hand ignored his words and continued making his breakfast

"Any progress on the Zerg's?" She asked directly "it's terrible, we can only protect our territory for now" Riezekiel clenched his jaw as he pulled her into a hug

His fists clenched and unclenched

"Are you okay?" Zosia asked with a hint of worry in her tone

He was her husband and if he did she'd end up being a widow at 17!

"I'd protect you! Don't leave me" he muttered his cold facade crumbling as he had unto her tightly as if he could merge bodies with her

"I'm here, where could I possibly go?" Zosia sighed as she subconsciously patted his back. Feeling the warmth of her hands his tensed muscles slowly relaxed and he allowed himself lower his guard at her mercy

"The zergs migrated from Vulcan, it's dominated over 10 planets at the moment" Riezekiel explained and Zosia's brows furrowed

"Zerg's don't leave their nests except their nest is being disturbed….." Zosia clenched her jaw as she thought deeply, her implication was clear!

The Zerg invasion was handmade

"They've evolved and can think on thier own, they can also adapt fast" Riezekiel added and Zosia laughed lightly

However the light in her eyes was gone replaced by a chilling coldness

"The queen has evolved and advanced!" She chuckled, to this Riezekiel sighed gravely

"The queen controls the hive and the followers receives orders from the queen..." she added as she served him his breakfast while munching on her yogurt bowl

The sweetness was on point, adding to the fact that it was rich

"I'll protect you from everything" Riezekiel assured her and she smiled

It was the first time anyone wanted to protect her and it felt good

"Thank you" she smiled and he nodded as he begun to eat

After breakfast she ran him a bath after which she went about cleaning the apartment

"Brother…." Rivana stormed into the house when Zosia opened the door, her brown orbs glared fiercely at Zosia fiercely

Oh how she had waited for this moment to tear Zosia's mask off and show her dumb brother who was really worth him

"Rivana what are you doing here?" He asked coldly as he walked out dressed casually which was a stark contrast to the combat uniform he wore all day

"Take a look at your wife brother... she's dressed so loosely to seduce men! You have no idea what she's been doing behind your back!" Rivana anxiously stated and Riezekiel's eyes darkened

"She's not wife enough! Look at her narrow waist! She can't give birth at all and those breast's will kill the child" she added still glaring hatefully at Zosia

"Get out on your own, I won't repeat myself" Riezekiel's eyes were devoid of warmth as he stared at her

"Brother…..!" Rivana bit her lips pitifully
