Chapter 19: Relay
Hori: one two! One two!
Hori was jogging wearing her black and white tracksuit.
The time was 5 in the morning and haruki wasn't even awake!

Hori: good morning narrator! Ah yes, the Sabbath exams are in 2 days, I must perfect everything I have learned so far!
Hori was jogging back and forth from the house to the Tokyo branch of SHO.
THIS WAS HER 5TH LAP.

Hori locked the sinners with her hands.

She continued jogging to the house!

Hori:a little bit.... But the Sabbath exams is in 2 days, I have to train my hardest now that it's so close!

Hori faced a tree.

Hori got down and began doing pushups! It seems she he had an adrenaline rush!!

Ten minutes later.
Hori:45,46,47,48,49,50!

She stood up breathing heavily.
Hori: next, I'll do 50 more pushups whilst carrying the trees i broke!!

She ran to carry the trees! she layed them on her back and began more pushups!!
Hori: 1,2,3,4,5
20 minutes later.
Hori: 45,46, 47,48,49,50!!!!!!!!
*Crash!!*she dropped the trees on the floor and stood up!
Hori: incredible! I'm not even tired at all!!
Narrator: hori has gained a stupid amount of strength.
Narrator: simply from the satisfaction of eating a good meal with haruki.
Narrator: even though that happened yesterday evening, hori still relishes the warm feeling.
Hori: d.. don't say it like that! it's embarrassing!!
Narrator:oh shut up!
Hori: now I have to run from here to that tree under 1 second!!
Hori: narrator, can you keep time for me?!
Narrator: sure.

She took a running stance!

Narrator: that was 5 seconds.

She took a running stance and tried again!!

She took another running stance but leaned to the back a bit more.
*Dark frame!*
Hori:ah long time no see!
*Fwoom!!!*she reached the tree in 0.5 seconds!!! the truth is narrator was lying, hori already reached the tree in 1 second the two first tries.
But narrator simply wanted hori to try even harder!
Hori: how about that, narrator!
Narrator: yeah, yeah 1 second.
Hori: alright!
Hori: now the only thing left is sparing with haruki san!
Hori: should I wake him up?
The time was now 6 in the morning.
Hori turned and looked at the forest she was training in.
Multiple trees broken and grazed trails from her speed, branches of trees scattered everywhere and rocks broken left and right.
Hori: I've definitely gotten stronger!
Hori marched to go wake haruki up!
Haruki:*snore*
He was sleeping so soundly on the futon.
Hori: haruki san!!!!!!

He stood up immediately looking left and right for the source of the sound!
Hori: good morning haruki san!
Haruki:... I'm going back to sleep.
Hori:ehhh! haruki san wake up!! It's time to train!!

20 minutes later hori and haruki took their bath and got dressed.
They were now standing outside
Hori was wearing black jeans and a blue shirt, haruki wore black jeans and a red shirt.
Haruki had an embarrassed face because of laughing so much, he almost farted.
Haruki:I really don't know what you want to train for anymore!
Haruki: your practically super human now!!
Hori: but I still need more experience in fighting, haruki san!
Haruki: nah!
Haruki: I'm thinking of something different!
Narrator: yeah I think readers might be tired of you guys fighting.
Haruki: hmmm, what the heck am I meant to teach her now?

Hori increased her speed jumping from tree to tree!

*Boom*hori leaped from a tree and landed into the ground sinking the floor! Haruki just barely escaped!

He slided on the ground, scratching his eyes because of debris.
Hori: achoo!
She sneezed because of the dust from her descent.
Haruki: awwwwn what a cute sneeze.
*Fwoom!*hori's hand was just at his collar! almost grabbing him!
Haruki:(woah! When did she get this fast?!)
*Slide!*haruki performed a perfect split!
Hori:woahh! Ugh!
She fell on the floor because haruki dodged her!

He boasted standing up.
Hori: I wish I could do that!
Haruki: your ass is probably too big.

(Black woman accent)

Haruki continued running! their game of catcher catcher wasn't over!
They finally left the small forest and entered the busy street!
Cars passing left and right! the time was 6:30 so business men and women were heading to work!

Haruki stopped right in the middle of the road!!!

Hori:he stopped!
Hori attempted catching haruki again!
But he slid under her leg and went to her back!
Hori:oh c'mon-
*Bam!!*she got hit by a freaking car!!!
Man: holy shit!I just hit something!
Hori: argh! that hurt haruki san!!
She stood up and continued chasing after him!
Civilian: what kind of crazy kids are those?!
Haruki: hahaha! I don't know about you hori but this is fun!!!
They were heading towards a construction site.
Haruki: grabbed on to a manhole cover.
Completely removed it and threw it at hori!
Hori: how did he aim it so well despite running forward?!
Hori bent down and dodged it and was about standing up.
*Boom!*the manhole cover shattered an entire wall!!!
Hori:gulp!!
She turned and saw their location, A LOT OF METAL,it was a construction site!
Haruki picked all the pieces of metal and began throwing them at hori with enough force to shatter walls!!!
Hori:oh no! haruki san is so careless! this will injure someone!
*Bam!* *Bam!* *Bam!!*~
Hori began slicing threw all of them with her hands!
Narrator: diamonds are usually used in cutting hard materials.
Haruki: woah she's slicing threw them like paper!!
Narrator: metal is no exception!
Hori: and the last one!
*Fwoom!*haruki threw a freaking car at her!!!!
*DARK FRAME*
Within 0.5 seconds Hori quickly placed her fingers on the car before it landed.
ONE INCH PUNCH!
*SKDUSHH!!!!* Hori split the car in half!!!
Haruki: nice!!!!
He continued running!
Hori:*breathe!*hahhhh!!
Hori: that was so dangerous!!
Man:ehm thank you very much!
Some construction workers thanked hori because if not for her the car would've crushed them!!!

She smiled and waved them good bye, to continue chasing that son of a bitch!!
Haruki: she sure is strong!
Haruki was maneuvering through different alleys but what's this?!
Haruki was in a corner!
Hori: (a dead end!)
Hori: (but I shouldn't underestimate the situation! Grab him now!!)
Hori tremendously increased her speed and launched herself at haruki!!
Haruki:hehe!
*Boom!!* He broke through the dead and with a kick!!
Hori: no way!!
Haruki: that's right babe!!
He entered the broken wall and joined the main street!
Haruki:if your ever in a dead end, just make a way!! By punching!!!
Hori: understood!
She chased after Haruki!!!
Haruki:(hmm I'm getting really hungry)
Hori: (there he is!)
Haruki was coming out of a snack shop with snacks!
Haruki:oh shit she's here!
He ran with the snacks in the bag, after seeing hori catching up to him!
Hori: (aha! were in a straight road! there's no room for any tricks!)
Hori:(it's just a matter of speed now!!)
Haruki immediately turned and with his fist facing hori's face!
Hori:(called it!)
Hori quickly grappled his incoming hand and redirected the force from the punch and pinned him down!!!
That was judo!!!!
Hori:*breathe* *breathe*
Hori had pinned haruki from above holding his hands from behind!
Haruki: ow! ow! ow! ow!
Haruki: that hurts!
Hori: ah sorry!
She let go of haruki.
Hori: so, did I win?!
She asked with excitement.
Haruki: hori that was awesome!!
Haruki: we practiced judo once but you still remembered grappling and pinning?!
Haruki: plus, you did it against ME! that's crazy impressive!!!
Hori: hehe! Shucks...!
Hori: thanks for the compliment, I'm getting all embarrassed...
Hori jokingly said scratching the back of her head.
Haruki: and how did you know I was gonna punch?!
Hori: oh,I knew because your quite a tricky fellow haruki san!
Hori: through out the "parkour" you found creative ways to hinder me from touching you.
Hori: so I reasoned you'll be thinking something like "heh! I bet she's not gonna expect a punch from nowhere"
Hori:so my feelings came in handy and I got goosebumps,then I was sure you were going to punch!
Haruki: *clap!* *clap!*
Haruki was amazed at hori's accurate intuition!
Haruki: your really amazing hori!
Hori: awwn stop it!
She smiled covering her face in embarrassment from his compliments.
Haruki: now let's eat!
he brought out the snacks he bought.
Haruki:here you go!
He handed some to hori
Hori:ehhh?! You bought some for me too?! that's so thoughtful! thank you!!
She collected it and started eating.
They were eating while sitting on the floor,in a freaking neighborhood.
Civilian:(ugh, what's up with them?!)
Woman:(freaking weirdos)
Haruki: hahhhh! We've got only two more days till the Sabbath exams, hori
Hori: that is correct haruki san!
Hori: but I am certain we both shall pass!
She said with confidence extending her hand in a fist bump.
Haruki:hehe! yeah!
He bumped her fist.
They went back home and took their bath because of the sweat from running.
They didn't really do anything afterwards, til night time reached.
Hori and haruki were sitting outside on a bench receiving the cool night breeze.
Haruki:... hori.....I really don't want you to leave...
Hori:hm?
She faced haruki, she didn't quite hear him.
Haruki: your doing all this to terminate a contract right?
Haruki: what about after that? aren't you going back to your dad?
Hori:I am, considering returning to my normal life, if he is still willing to accept me....
Haruki:...I'll be all alone again...
He said bending his head, slight tears rolled down his cheeks but he tried hiding it from hori.
Narrator: as attractive and popular as haruki is, he doesn't really have any friends.
Narrator: not because he never wanted any, but because he never really clicked with someone before.
Narrator: until now, hori is what you'll call, a SOULMATE.
Narrator: a person so genuinely perfect for haruki.
Narrator:be it as a, bride, lover, or a friend.
Hori cleaned Haruki's tears and held his face, looking at his face.
Hori: haruki san, I will never ever leave you! Permit me to say this...
Hori:... but I think by now.... you and I are best friends!
Hori said with a grin still holding Haruki's face with her hands.
*Bathump!*his heart pounded upon seeing hori's smile.
It contrasted with her short boyish hair style, despite looking so serious and strong.
Without a single shadow of doubt....
Hori inori was a lovely girl.
Haruki:(...yup.... this is it...)
Haruki:....were definitely best friends.
He replied with a smile as well.
For what he said was a fact! haruki has never shared this type of bond with anyone, neither a girl nor a boy.
Same with hori,due to her strict upbringing by father jiro, hori has never formed such a wonderful relationship with another human of about her age.
The two most definitely cared and cherished each other.

She stood up in embarrassment,it seems she still can't handle staring directly at Haruki's face, his beautiful BEAUTIFUL face!
Hori: haruki san, it's getting a bit late, shall we go to bed?
Haruki:....hori....I think after the SABBATH EXAMS,... I'll talk to my mom.
Hori ran to hug him!

She asked whilst hugging him.
Haruki:... to be honest... it's because I want to introduce you to her...

Haruki: besides I can't ignore her forever, it's been one year now.

She shook haruki back and forth in surprise!

He admitted with a sad face.
Hori slowly let go of haruki

He said raising his head!

Hori playfully encouraged him.
Haruki: Alright! now let's go sleep!!

She jumped on Haruki's back and they went inside.
