Chapter 20: What We've Learned

William Obeya: and Incase your wondering why the Sabbath exams arc is taking so long, it's because I just finished organizing the trials.

William Obeya: as well as characters and "memorable moments"

William Obeya: memorable moments as in the things our MC will do to make her stand out (every anime has it)

William Obeya: anyways,let me cut to the chase,it's time to outline some things about the verse we've learned so far.

William Obeya: you see, we still have a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong

way to go until the end of the series.

William Obeya: and there are a lot of things I want you guys to get accustomed to.

William Obeya: so let's outline somethings about Tsumibito!(Without any spoilers of course)

This is a world where sins have physical manifestations.

Due to "the curse" sins manifest in Random individuals whenever there is a spike in their sin committed daily.

The amount of sining required for a sin to manifest depends on how much sining triggered the previous manifestation of the previous sin.

For example, the sin of lying born on 1920 required 100 lies committed in one day.

The sin of lying lived from 1920 to 2025.

And was killed by a priest (member of SHO-Sin Hunting Organization)

Now for the next sin of lying to be born in 2025, the number of lies committed in a single day will have to surpass the previous numbers of lies that gave birth to the previous sin of lying, which was 100

So 101 or more lies will have to be told on a single day.

So we can represent it like this 👇

Sunday: 1 person lied globally (obviously not possible but let's just use it as an example)

Monday: 50 people lied globally

Tuesday: 73 people lied globally

Wednesday: 39 people lied globally

Thursday: 99 people lied globally

Friday: 100 people lied globally!!!

Now,100 lies caused the birth of the previous sin of lying, so now we'll need more than that.

Saturday: 101 people lied globally on a single day!!!

At the exact moment that 101th lie is told, the next sin of lying will immediately manifest in a random person.

Be it a boy or girl,man or woman, white or black, old or young,gay or straight.

IT DOESN'T MATTER

Normally when that happens the person immediately loses his or her humanity and begins craving human flesh!

THIS IS ALL JUST AN EXAMPLE, PLEASE IT DOES NOT INFLUENCE THE ACTUAL STORY.

Our MC Hori Inori formerly Inori Jiro,is the daughter of the prime minister of Japan FATHER TABATA JIRO or Father jiro for formality.

She is 14 years old, her breasts are quite big because of a healthy upbringing and her figure becomes more pronounced after her training for the SABBATH EXAMS, she also gets slightly muscular.

Haruki is the sin of.... ehmmm yh I'm not revealing that now, because haruki himself doesn't know.

You see, when a sin manifests in a person,it shows it's sin written boldly on the victims hand and then fades away.

Unfortunately HARUKI WAS SLEEPING when a sin manifested in him, so he did not see the writing on his hand to notify him of his sin.

As absurd as this sounds it's not the first time it's happened, like I said, after the already explained requirements are met, the sin manifests in a random person.

So of course you might be sleeping when a sin manifests in you.

Haruki doesn't think about it too much, because it makes him depressed.

Pretty sure this is obvious, but the story takes place in 2025 Japan, Fukui.

Father jiro

What we know about him so far is that he's the prime minister of Japan

The head of SHO Japan

The current richest man alive

He is also the strongest man alive, although nobody knows his ability.

Hori's "feelings"

As explained in the story, hori gets goosebumps whenever a situation is dire,or whenever a strong attack is incoming.

Now the reason she couldn't dodge when Robber 1 struck her nose with a gun.

Was because the goosebumps hori gets before each attack gravely varies.

The deadlier the attack, the more goosebumps she gets.

So I guess her body didn't consider getting smacked in the nose as deadly.

That's why she immediately dodged when the robber pointed the gun at her forehead.

Even though she's never heard of a gun, her "feelings" immediately told her that it was dangerous.

Making her to dodge it point blank!!!!

Hmmm let me see, what else do I need to talk about.

Aha! Mrs Shuntaro, hori's pregnant lady friend.

As explained her husband was eaten by a sinner in her presence.

You see,as already explained in the chapter before this one, sinner are believed to have "preferences" when devouring humans.

Mrs Shuntaro's husband was eaten by a sinner of addiction.

He was a gambling addict, although not addicted enough to turn him into a sinner of addiction but enough to attract one.

Luckily for Mrs Shuntaro, she doesn't have any addictions so the sinner left her and her unborn child alone after devouring the husband of course.

But unfortunately for Mrs Shuntaro, her husband had a lot of debt, causing her living standards to dramatically drop.

You notice her shopping at the old man's store a lot right?

It's because he gives her special discounts because of her condition, pregnant and in debt.

What a kind old man.
