Celestial Anger

The door to Helen's room opened and from there Celestial walked out, approaching Eleanor who was waiting for her. At that moment Eleanor was chatting with other nobles in the academic hallway.

Noticing Celestial coming out of the room, Eleanor intended to ask about Helen's answer. But because Celestial looked very angry, she suddenly slapped Eleanor.

Everyone was shocked when they saw that, because of course they did not expect that Celestial would slap her own sister.

Eleanor's eyes widened in shock as she stared at Celestial who was looking at her with a sharp gaze.

"How dare you do this to me! Did you ruin my painting? You did it on purpose so that you could take my work for the royal exhibition later!" she scolded Eleanor in front of everyone which made them immediately whisper about Celestial.

At that time she didn't really think about what was happening around her, because Celestial was already very angry and also disappointed with what had happened.

She designed the painting herself for almost a week and finished the painting just before the day they had to submit it. But it turned out that all her work was in vain as the painting was damaged and now the sketches were missing.

Then in the midst of her disappointment and frustration, she saw Eleanor's painting which turned out to have the same image as her.

Flashback

"That's my painting! How could she make this painting using my design!" Celestial said when she saw Eleanor's painting that Helen showed her.

"Is that true? But Lady Eleanor said that she made it herself. She even had a sketch for this painting," Helen replied and then put the painting back.

Celestial nodded her head, she was very sure this was her drawing. She remembered that she had drawn such a beautiful place with a night view and the reflection of the moonlight on the nearby lake.

Plus a few other details that Celestial added when she finished the sketch. How could Eleanor even follow those small details from her own drawing. It was as if she had a duplicate of her sketch as well in order to know what Celestial would paint on her canvas.

"I don't know if you're right about this painting being yours or not. But if indeed your painting will be the same as Lady Eleanor's, that means I will use Lady Eleanor's alone. We don't need two of the same painting for the exhibition," said Helen, who looked doubtful whether Celestial was the main owner of the painting or Eleanor had made it first.

However, since Celestial could not show the sketches she had first made for the painting, Helen could not accept them and said that Eleanor's would be enough for the exhibition.

This caused another upset in Celestial, especially since her design had been stolen.

Flashback End

"I don't understand what you mean Celestial! Why are you doing this to me?" Eleanor asked with a pained face as if she didn't understand anything.

"Don't pretend you don't know anything! I saw you coming into my room under the pretense of arranging the flowers that Moran gave me! You must have been trying to duplicate my painting design at the time, right?"

The pink-haired woman shook her head with tears welling up in her eyes. She felt so hurt, especially since her hand was still holding the cheek where Celestial had slapped her.

The commotion was a spectacle for the nobles, especially those who saw how the special suddenly slapped Eleanor and accused her of stealing his painting design.

"I know that you really want your painting to be displayed in the exhibition too. I know your painting wasn't finished on time, but that doesn't mean you can accuse me of stealing your design," Eleanor said trying to defend herself which made Celestial even angrier but at that moment Odette and Samantha separated them.

"How dare you accuse Lady Eleanor! She made her painting wholeheartedly and with sincerity so that she could show that she was also capable of being in the royal exhibition! Is Lady Celestial afraid of competing with Lady Eleanor to do this? Humiliating her in front of all the nobles!" said Samantha while protecting Eleanor.

But of course Celestial wasn't just making accusations, because she was sure Eleanor had done it. It was clear that Eleanor's painting was a design that she had created and how Eleanor could have a duplicate of her design was all answered by the wax droplets on her work table.

She believes Eleanor used the shadow technique of candlelight by pasting two papers together with the image behind them for Eleanor to follow with the paper in front of her. It's like tracing a picture with the shadow cast by the light from a candle.

It was just that there was no evidence of the wax marks that had been cleaned up and that had also happened three days ago.

"There's no way Lady Celestial is accusing carelessly because I'm sure it was Lady Eleanor who made trouble in the first place!" Odette tried to defend her lady, but that only made the other nobles whisper even more about the problem.

They questioned, Was it true that Celestial was afraid of competition from Eleanor whose paintings were getting prettier and prettier, so she accused Eleanor of stealing her designs?

Or was it really Eleanor who did it?

She had already lost the original paper of her design to serve as proof of this incident. Because of her mounting guilt, Celestial decided to leave Eleanor and didn't even wait for her to get into the carriage.

"Run the carriage!"

"But what about Lady Eleanor?" asked the coachman who was waiting for Eleanor to come and ride home with them.

But Celestial raised her tone of voice to order the man to bring the carriage back to the mansion right now.

"I am the main daugtherbnl of the Damanor family. Follow what I say or I will report this to my father if you refuse my orders!"

Not wanting any other problems to arise, the man immediately carried out the order and left without Eleanor or Samantha. The two women looked confused and surprised when the carriage had left them without waiting for them to board.

Celestial massaged the bridge of her nose, feeling completely betrayed by Eleanor. She had even just realized that she had made a big mistake by slapping the woman in front of everyone.

'This will definitely affect my reputation a lot. What if they see me as someone evil? Will this be a big change and lead me to the same death?' she thought at the time.

In the midst of her frustration, Odette grasped Celestial's hand trying to calm her down.

"I don't understand why she would do this either, Lady Celestial. But it must be that Lady Eleanor really wants to take your place. Even with her being able to participate in the royal fair alone, it already sounds strange. Why would Lady Helen suddenly ask Lady Eleanor to participate as well?" said Odette in confusion.

For a moment she was silent, what her servant said did have some truth to it. If Helen had wanted Eleanor to participate from the start, why didn't she say it at the same time Helen asked her to be a participant.

She could have said it in the presence of Eleanor and also Celestial at the same time, but why did Helen only ask to meet with Celestial at that time.

"Could it be that Lady Eleanor met Lady Helen and asked to take part in this participation? She must have another purpose for that!"

Celestial began to nod in understanding with Odette's words, which were quite reasonable. Could it be that Eleanor had indeed met Helen to ask to participate in the royal exhibition. That meant she could have had the same intentions as Celestial or perhaps intended to show that she was much better than her.

"It turns out that she has indeed tried to be one step ahead of me. But I won't let that happen. I guess from now on there is no word for pity for her anymore."
