The Little Creek Princess

Artemis' POV

Six months had passed since we returned from Paris, and life had never felt more peaceful.

The chaos that once consumed Aiden's world was now replaced with laughter, love, and the soft giggles of our daughter, Elara.

And in those six months, she had grown… beautifully.

I was in the living room, sitting on the plush carpet with Elara right in front of me. Her tiny hands gripped her favorite plush bunny as she babbled in her adorable baby language.

Aiden sat on the couch, dressed in his usual black shirt and slacks, sipping his morning coffee while watching us with that signature smirk on his face.

"You're spoiling her with attention," Aiden teased.

I rolled my eyes playfully. "And you don't?"

He chuckled, setting his coffee cup down as he leaned forward. "Come here, princess," he called softly.

Elara's head turned toward Aiden, her bright gray eyes…. so much like mine, sparkling with curiosity.
