Edward Harper served the fried eggs and as he brought them to the dining room, he saw Clara Knox staring blankly at several bowls. He placed the eggs down, his expression warm,
"I saw this set of tableware at the mall last time and thought it looked nice, so I bought it home."
Clara Knox smiled,
"Indeed, it's quite nice."
The two arranged all the food in the dining room, and Clara Knox called out to the living room,
"Max, Lucas, come eat."
The children were in the middle of playing and only responded vaguely, not so quick to leave their toys. Clara Knox shook her head helplessly.
Edward Harper called out to her from the kitchen,
"Clara, come over and help me."
