The dark chamber disappeared, replaced by a vibrant forest filled with the chatter of birds and the scent of fresh flowers.

"Where is this?" Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow, momentarily taken aback.

He hadn't even realized the transition had happened.

What shocked him even more was the sudden decline in his Ki.

Moments ago, his battle power had been around 50,000.

Now, it barely reached two hundred.

"Is this the nature of spiritual projection?" He muttered while scanning his surroundings.

But before he could gather his thoughts—

"Splash!"

The sound of water being disturbed was followed by a chaotic commotion.

"Run!"

"You moron, this is your fault!"

Irritated voices rang out from the distance.

"Mutaito! Crane! You two stop right there!"

"How dare you spy on me while I'm bathing?! You're both finished!"

A furious female voice bellowed.

In the next moment, Jiang Chen spotted two figures kicking up dust as they bolted in his direction.

The two clumsy individuals shoved each other as they sprinted.

They were about to rush past him—

When suddenly—

"Bang!"

A shadow dropped from the sky and the two crashed to the ground in a tangled heap.

A firm hand grabbed one of them, hoisting both individuals off their feet and dragging them back the way they had come.

As they disappeared down the path, their panicked screams echoed through the forest.

Jiang Chen couldn't help but chuckle, shaking his head.

It was clear these two were none other than a young Kame Sennin and Crane Hermit.

"That must be Master Mutaito." He murmured to himself with some anticipation rising in his heart.

Jiang Chen wasn't certain how many powerful martial artists had existed in Earth's past.

But one thing was undeniable— aside from Kame Sennin and Crane Hermit, Master Mutaito was an undisputed legend.

The man who had once stood against King Piccolo, sacrificing himself to seal the demon with the formidable Mafuba technique.

A technique so fearsome that even in Dragon Ball Super, it remained relevant.

Master Mutaito's martial arts comprehension rivaled, if not surpassed, that of Kame Sennin.

If he could learn under him, it would be an invaluable opportunity.

After a brief moment of contemplation, Jiang Chen took to the sky, heading in the direction where the trio had disappeared.

Moments later, he arrived at a grand dojo nestled within the dense forest.

The building was enormous, far larger than he had expected.

Thousands of martial artists were gathered within its walls.

Taking a moment to assess the scene, Jiang Chen found a concealed spot to land.

Blending into the crowd, he followed the flow of people into the dojo.

The interior was even grander than he had imagined.

Much larger than its depiction in the anime—capable of housing at least five to six thousand students.

And among them, Jiang Chen could sense several individuals whose battle power exceeded a hundred.

Despite their strength, all of them displayed deep reverence and discipline.

"What is Ki?"

"Ki is the essence of life itself— the spiritual energy generated through breath and movement. It flows within all living beings, and through rigorous training, one can refine and strengthen it."

"In battle, the amount of Ki a warrior possesses determines their strength and ultimately the outcome of the fight. Mastering Ki control and sensing an opponent's energy are essential. Only by understanding an opponent's ki can one strike effectively."

In the dojo, Master Mutaito stood before a group of martial artists, imparting his deep understanding of Ki.

Yet, only a few grasped the concept.

Most were perplexed, struggling to comprehend the unseen force.

Only a handful listened intently. Jiang Chen was among them.

During this time, he had immersed himself in training under Master Mutaito, contemplating the depths of Ki and martial arts.

Master Mutaito was undoubtedly the greatest martial artist of his era, preceding the events of Dragon Ball's main storyline.

His strength might not have surpassed the present-day Kame Sennin by much, but his understanding of martial arts was on an entirely different level.

Especially when it came to Ki— Master Mutaito's mastery far exceeded that of Kame Sennin.

After three months of rigorous training, Jiang Chen's comprehension of martial arts and ki had reached new heights.

Three months later.

Jiang Chen's consciousness departed from this time and space.

Once again, he found himself drifting into a new era. Earth had existed for billions of years, and humanity had thrived for over a million.

Throughout history, due to Earth's unique nature, every era has produced at least one, if not several, extraordinary martial artists.

Though their raw power was often limited— even the strongest, Master Mutaito, had a battle power under two hundred— their understanding of martial arts and Ki surpassed that of most alien warriors.

And this knowledge was Jiang Chen's greatest asset.

Time continued to flow and one era after another unfolded before him.

Meanwhile, in the present world, the Dragon Ball universe is undergoing quiet yet significant changes.

Though the main storyline had not been drastically altered, the influence of Raditz and his fellow Saiyans joining the Galactic Patrol had set off a chain reaction.

The most direct impact was the exponential rise in the Galactic Patrol's strength.

In the original timeline, the Galactic Patrol had only a handful of true elites— Sealas and Merus.

Yet Merus, being a trainee Angel, was restricted in how much he could interfere with the universe's affairs.

And soon, Sealas would be reassigned to the Time Patrol, leaving the Galactic Patrol nearly devoid of formidable warriors.

Under such circumstances, their influence was practically nonexistent.

But now, everything was different.

Even with Sealas's mysterious disappearance, the addition of the Saiyans had bolstered the Galactic Patrol's strength instead of weakening it.

Raditz alone had a power level exceeding 30,000.

Celipa, Toma, Toteppo, and Panbukin all boasted power levels above 5,000.

Nappa had reached 4,000, and Son Goku had surpassed 7,000.

More importantly, the Saiyans possessed the ability to transform into Great Apes.

This meant that the Galactic Patrol now had warriors whose battle power could soar to tens of thousands in an instant.

Though this power would not be used lightly, it was a formidable presence nonetheless.

This was still the early Dragon Ball era, which meant that this si an era long before power levels in the hundreds of millions became commonplace.

At this time, a battle power of ten thousand was enough to be regarded as one of the strongest in the universe.

A being like Captain Ginyu, with a power level exceeding 100,000, could easily dominate an entire galaxy.

With the Saiyans' strength added to their ranks, the Galactic Patrol had newfound confidence.

Even Frieza's forces in the North Area and Cooler's empire in the West Area refrained from provoking them for the time being.

However, that did not mean they were idle in the South and East Areas.

In just six months, the Galactic Patrol launched a widespread campaign across the South and East Areas.

Criminal syndicates were being dismantled. Notorious space pirates were being captured.

Even in the North and West Areas, the Galactic Patrol was beginning to extend its influence.

Naturally, these operations involved the Saiyans.

At first, Raditz and the others struggled to adapt.

Having spent their lives conquering planets and wiping out civilizations, becoming enforcers of justice felt unnatural to them.

But as time passed, and as they experienced the thrill of battle in pursuit of criminals, Raditz and his fellow Saiyans began to settle into their new roles.

After all, in essence, their tasks remained the same— combat, dominance, and victory.

The only difference was the nature of their opponents.

Unlike before, when destruction was their mission, now, their focus was on combat itself.

And for Saiyans, combat was everything.

Thus, in just six months, subtle changes took root among Raditz and his comrades.

Changes that were so gradual that even they failed to notice them.
