Meanwhile, in the South Area, on a planet known as Saddam, this world had once been home to a peaceful race.
Decades ago, however, space pirates had invaded, transforming it into their stronghold, now infamous as "Saddam Planet."
For years, darkness and lawlessness ruled the planet.
But today—
'BOOM!'
A massive explosion erupted from the heart of Saddam Planet. The grand palace at the center of the planet trembled violently before collapsing into rubble.
'Rumble!'
Amidst the smoke and debris, a towering, squid-like alien shot out of the ruins, his aura raging.
Several bizarre aliens followed in his wake, their expressions twisted with fury.
"Who dares attack us?!"
"Damn it! Show yourselves!"
The squid-like figure bellowed in rage as a terrifying aura radiated from him.
His battle power exceeded 20,000.
"Saddam, you have violated Galactic Law— Articles 1, 5, 7, 8, and 134. By the authority of the Galactic Patrol, you are under arrest. Resist, and you will be executed on the spot." A steady voice rang out as Raditz stepped forward.
"Galactic Law? Are you with the Galactic Patrol?" The squid-like alien's expression darkened upon hearing those words.
But soon, his face twisted into a scowl of rage.
"Hmph! Just a bunch of fools in uniforms. Do you really think you have the strength to capture me?" The alien roared as his energy surged violently.
"Resistance detected."
"Immediate execution."
Raditz's tone remained calm, but in the next instant, he moved.
The battle erupted in a flash.
Fifteen minutes later, the squid alien's lifeless body plummeted from the sky.
"What a waste of time," Raditz scoffed before he descended and seized Saddam, lifting him effortlessly.
Just as he turned, a trembling voice spoke up.
"Thank you, my lord!" The words were faint, yet Raditz heard them clearly. He turned his gaze toward the source.
An alien crawled forward, eyes filled with gratitude. More soon followed, emerging from the ruins, and dropping to their knees before him.
"Thank you, my lord!"
"We are forever grateful!"
"You have saved this Planet!"
Their voices overlapped, brimming with relief and admiration causing Raditz's expression to shift slightly.
"Clean up here. The threat is gone." Raditz spoke, intending to leave, but felt compelled to offer that final remark.
"Thank you, my lord!"
"Understood!"
The alien who first spoke nodded eagerly, but before he could say more, Raditz was already gone.
A spaceship soon shot off into the depths of space, leaving Saddam's conquered world behind.

''South Quadrant''
''Galactic Patrol Branch''
Raditz returned, hauling Saddam's corpse.
The sight of the infamous space pirate's lifeless body sent shockwaves through the patrolmen.
"By the Kais! That's really Saddam!"
"He actually took down Saddam?"
"Unbelievable."
"Wait, isn't this the third high-tier criminal he's eliminated?"
"No— this is the fifth!"
A chorus of awe spread through the room, and all eyes turned toward Raditz with admiration.
A feeling unfamiliar to him.
In Frieza's army, the only looks he ever received were those of contempt, fear, or loathing.
But admiration? That was new.
At first, it unsettled him.
But after half a year of carrying out missions, eliminating warlords, and crushing space criminals, he found he didn't mind it at all.
With a dismissive toss, he threw Saddam's corpse toward the Galactic Patrol officers.
And then he moved on.
---
Raditz fully immersed himself in battle, taking on mission after mission, wiping out threats across the galaxy.
Each victory brought more combat, more enemies to face— and, strangely, a satisfaction he had never felt before.
…
Time flowed onward.
Raditz was not the only one experiencing this transformation.
Across the South Quadrant, throughout the Four Galaxies, others fought their own battles.
Celipa, Toma, Toteppo, Panbukin, Nappa, Son Goku, and more ventured through the cosmos, engaging in fierce combat, their power steadily growing.
Saiyans thrived on both battle and inner peace.
Maintaining stability in the galaxy nurtured both aspects, allowing them to reach new heights.
It was no wonder that the Saiyans of Universe 6, despite lacking Super Saiyan transformations, possessed strength surpassing the supposed limits of their kind.
And Raditz, along with the others, was catching up.
So long as they continued on this path, even without Super Saiyan transformations, their battle power would surge— just as it had for Universe 6's Saiyans.
This path was far more suited to their nature than merely conquering worlds.
After all, planetary invasions only unleashed their primal savagery; they did nothing to foster the growth of S-cells. If anything, they suppressed them.
Without the development of S-cells, a Saiyan's power would stall at ten thousand, making it nearly impossible to break beyond that limit.
After Planet Vegeta's destruction, only two Saiyans had ever exceeded that mark.
Raditz and his companions had yet to realize the full extent of this truth.
They were simply engrossed in this new way of life.
A year passed in the blink of an eye.

At that moment, Jiang Chen's third login was nearing its end.
Still training within the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he remained immersed in martial arts refinement.
Meanwhile, in the far reaches of the North Quadrant, near its western expanse—
A figure enveloped in green light streaked through space.
For years, he had traversed the cosmos, journeying across most of the North Quadrant. Now, at last, he neared the West Quadrant's outskirts.
"It's close… I can sense it!"
"That wretched energy— faster, I must go faster!"
"I have to reach it in time!"
Slug's voice growled with urgency. His aura flickered weakly, the once-bright energy around him dimming.
Even as a Super Namekian, years of non-stop travel had pushed him to the brink.
His face twisted in frustration. The energy signature he sought was still too far away.
At this rate, it would take at least a year to reach it.
But in his condition, he wouldn't last three months.
"Damn it!"
Just as despair crept in, his eyes widened.
Within the vastness of space, a new energy signature appeared—
A Namekian aura.
It was weaker, but much closer.
"No… No, I won't make it like this."
Clenching his teeth, Slug shifted his course.
His new destination: Earth.
---
History has a way of repeating itself.
Originally bound for Namek, Slug altered his course due to the vast distance, unwittingly choosing Earth once more.
"Boom!"
A burst of green light erupted as he cut through the cosmos, streaking toward Earth at full speed.
---
Meanwhile, at Galactic Patrol Headquarters, alarms blared and sensors immediately detected Slug's ominous presence.
Panic spread through the patrol ranks.
Though his power paled in comparison to Frieza's, his sheer malevolence eclipsed most other galactic threats.
More concerning still— Slug was not just another warlord.
He was a Namekian of the Demon Clan.
Even if his strength fell short of Frieza's, the havoc he could unleash upon the galaxy could be far worse.
