''In the western part of the Northern Galaxy.''
Galactic Patrol Headquarters.
At this moment, elite members of the Galactic Patrol were swiftly assembling in the heart of their headquarters for an emergency meeting.
"Rabul, what's going on?" An elite patrolman couldn't help but ask, glancing at Rabul, the one who had called the gathering.
"Everyone, are you familiar with Slug?" Rabul's voice was deep and serious as his gaze swept across the room.
"Slug?"
"You mean that tyrant who once clashed with Frieza's forces?"
One of the members frowned, recognition dawning on his face.
"That's the one," Rabul confirmed. "Just ten days ago, we detected Slug's energy signature in the western quadrant of the North Area. He was originally heading toward Namek, but now he's set his sights on Earth."
"Earth?"
"What?!"
Several members shot to their feet, alarm flashing in their eyes.
Slug heading to Namek hadn't been a major concern. After all, he was a Namekian himself, and whatever happened there would primarily be the Namekians' problem.
But now, with Earth as his new destination, an unsettling tension spread throughout the room.
"Rabul, are you sure about this? What could Slug possibly want on Earth?"
A skeptical patrolman furrowed his brow, voicing the question on everyone's mind. Countless eyes turned toward Rabul, awaiting his response.
"We're not certain yet, but one thing is clear: he no longer has the strength to make it to Namek. After his battle with Frieza, he was left barely clinging to life. That's likely why he's changed course."
Rabul paused for a moment before continuing.
"If he's that weakened, Rabul, do we stand a chance?"
One of the elites, recalling past encounters, spoke cautiously.
His words ignited a flicker of excitement among the group.
Slug was one of the most infamous criminals in the four galaxies, classified as a Class A threat on the Galactic Patrol's most-wanted list.
In his prime, his power level had soared into the tens of millions, and when he transformed into his Giant form, he could unleash over 50 Million in battle power. Back then, the Galactic Patrol hadn't dared to challenge him.
But now, with Slug gravely wounded and possibly unable to fully recover, this could be their only opportunity.
Every elite patrolman in the room reached the same conclusion.
Seeing the anticipation in their eyes, Rabul opened his mouth to speak— but before he could, murmurs of discussion filled the chamber.
Then, after a brief moment, one of the elite members suddenly had an idea. He turned to Rabul.
"Rabul, we need to call in those few!"
"We'll need their strength!"
Once again, every gaze in the room shifted toward Rabul.
"Alright!"
After a moment of consideration, Rabul nodded.
Without delay, under his orders, messages were sent to Raditz and the others.
It had been nearly a year since they had last gathered as Raditz and his comrades were scattered across the four galaxies.
When the news reached them, their reactions were immediate.
"What?"
"Earth?"
"Are you certain?"
"Understood. I'm heading back!"
On a distant planet in the South Area, Raditz frowned. But after a moment of hesitation, he clenched his fists, boarded his spaceship, and set course for the North Area.
Meanwhile, many other Saiyans, stationed across different parts of the galaxy, made their own decisions.
One after another, they also chose to return.
Except for one.
One lone figure, after careful thought, opted out.
Instead, he severed all communication.
"They're out of their minds. That monster fought Frieza on equal terms!" Nappa muttered to himself as he piloted his spacecraft deeper into the void, cutting all ties with the Galactic Patrol.
Two months later, Raditz and the others arrived at the Galactic Patrol headquarters.
"What's the situation? Raditz?" Celipa cast him a questioning glance.
"See for yourself." Raditz took a deep breath before handing them a dossier with a grave expression on his face.
"By the way, where's Nappa? He's still somewhere in the North Area. Why hasn't he shown up?" Toma flipped through the document ashe asked looking puzzled.
"I don't know," Raditz admitted. "I lost contact with him a month ago."
"Hmph. Typical." Panbukin scoffed. "The Nappa bloodline was always full of cowards."
Raditz said nothing. His focus remained on the documents in front of him.
''Super Namekian.''
Slug's power was far beyond their expectations. He wasn't just strong— he was a being on par with Frieza.
Even injured, he was a nightmare to face.
Celipa and the others, after reading the report, wore similarly grave expressions.
"You're serious? He can rival Frieza?!" Toteppo's voice rose in disbelief.
The others remained silent, their tension thick in the air.
"Raditz, what's the plan?" Toma inhaled sharply and turned to him.
"Raditz, I want to go back!" Son Goku, never one to hesitate, voiced his intent without a second thought.
"I've decided," Raditz declared, his voice unwavering. "We'll follow the Galactic Patrol's plan and intercept him. He's injured— his power should be diminished. We have a real chance."
Everyone turned to Kakarot, waiting for his reaction.
Raditz had changed, the time he spent with Aspara and his years on Earth had reshaped him.
"Alright!" Celipa and the others exchanged glances. After a moment's hesitation, they nodded in agreement.
The Saiyans had made their choice.
The operation began as the Galactic Patrol mobilized its forces and a massive contingent of elite warriors set out toward Slug's projected path.
…
Half a month later.
On a planet thirty light-years from the solar system, battle erupted.
The Galactic Patrol's finest warriors, alongside Raditz and the others, faced off against the Super Namekian.
Slug, despite his wounds, still radiated an overwhelming presence.
The Galactic Patrol had come fully armed, yet Slug stood alone.
Even weakened, the battle was a disaster. At merely ten percent of his full power, Slug's strength dwarfed anything they had imagined.
The Galactic Patrol suffered catastrophic losses as more than half of their elite forces were wiped out.
Raditz, Celipa, and the others were left battered and broken.
A grim silence followed the end of the battle.
The battle was over and Slug had won.
Though Slug was gravely wounded, he still managed to escape and continued his journey toward Earth.
Faced with this dire situation, Raditz and the others gritted their teeth and, after recovering, hurried back to Earth.
…
Half a month later.
Thanks to their spaceship, Raditz and the others arrived at Earth first.
Earth, West City, on the vast plain.
A group of them materialized.
"Raditz, what's our next move?" Toma looked at Raditz expectantly.
"Prepare yourselves! I'll head to the Lookout to find Aspara." Raditz declared.
"Understood!" The others exchanged glances and nodded in agreement.
After they nodded, Raditz shot up into the clouds.
