A few minutes later he arrived at the Lookout.
"Raditz, what brings you here?" Seeing Raditz descend in haste, Kami Piccolo's expression tightened, filled with concern.
"Kami, can you locate Aspara?" Raditz didn't waste time and asked directly.
"Aspara? He is currently deep in training within the Lookout's sacred chamber." Kami Piccolo paused for a moment before quickly responding.
"Is that so? Kami, can you summon him?" Raditz was momentarily taken aback but then felt a surge of hope and couldn't help but ask.
"He has entered a special time-space. He can only emerge when he chooses to. Is something the matter? Why are you looking like that?" Kami Piccolo shook his head, then couldn't help but ask again.
"A powerful enemy is coming to Earth."
"This is troubling."
Raditz explained casually, then frowned.
"What?" Hearing Raditz's words, Kami Piccolo was taken aback.
He knew how strong Raditz was, and the fact that he considered the threat serious made him uneasy.
"Kami, you're a Namekian, right? Does that mean there are Dragon Balls here?"
Suddenly, Raditz seemed to have a revelation, his eyes lighting up as he looked at Kami Piccolo, unable to contain his curiosity.
He hadn't considered this before.
But now that Slug had originally been heading to Namek and was now coming to Earth, combined with his condition, Raditz quickly deduced the possibility.
"Yes, there are. Raditz, do you need the Dragon Balls?" Kami Piccolo hesitated for a moment before nodding.
"Yes, Kami, please gather them quickly, or it might be too late. That guy is probably coming for them." Raditz urged.
"Understood. I'll go right away." Kami Piccolo didn't dare to delay.
Especially after hearing Raditz's words, his expression grew even more serious.
As the creator of the Dragon Balls, locating them was relatively easy for him, even without a Dragon Radar.
In less than half a day, the seven Dragon Balls were gathered by Kami.
"Summon Shenron!" Raditz instructed.
"Alright." Kami Piccolo nodded quickly.
As the incantation was recited, thick dark clouds suddenly enveloped the sky as a massive green Shenron emerged before them.
"Whoever summoned me, state your wish; any wish can be granted!" Shenron's voice echoed, his gaze fixed on Kami.
However, before he could finish speaking, Shenron quickly changed his tone.
"Lord Kami, it is you! How may I serve you?"
Kami Piccolo spoke up, looking at Raditz.
"Please grant Raditz's wish."
"Shenron, can you grant us the righteous heart required for the transformation of the Saiyan God?" Raditz asked, looking at Shenron as he articulated his wish.
"The righteous heart of the Saiyan God."
"This wish can be fulfilled. Your hearts are moving toward righteousness, and I can catalyze your transformation. However, since this is a catalysis, your righteous hearts will not be complete. Even if you achieve the Saiyan God form, the duration will be limited, and any lingering evil within you will be purged." Shenron's voice resonated.
"That's fine!" Hearing Shenron's words, Raditz couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement.
He hadn't expected it to be possible.
If there was any way to stand against Slug, he could only think of two methods: one was transforming into a Super Saiyan, and the other was the Saiyan God form that he had once heard of.
Using Shenron, he was prepared to give it a try, and he was pleasantly surprised that it could actually work.
Raditz's expression brightened.
In the next moment, a red light burst from Shenron's eyes.
The red light instantly enveloped Raditz and the others present on Earth, including Celipa, Toma, Toteppo, and Panbukin.
The dark aura within them was rapidly expelled.
At the same time, their mental states began to shift subtly.
Meanwhile, deep beneath the ocean, the evil aura sealed within an ancient vessel stirred violently.
This time, the reaction was even stronger than before.
Simultaneously, in the vast darkness beyond the material world, in a dimension independent of the Zen'ō (King of All) universe system, something began to stir.
Here, in the abyss between universes, a name echoed ominously—
—The Demon Realm.
Beneath its shadowed lands, several figures gradually took shape.
They were evil and an ominous auras began spreading through the void. Demonic energy coiled around them, their power surging to terrifying levels.
"Hahaha, another demon has risen. And this one is strong." Sinister voices echoed in the darkness.
Yet at this moment, no one knew that Raditz and the others, under Shenron's divine light, had undergone a transformation of their own.
Outwardly, nothing seemed to change.
"Your wish has been granted."
"Farewell."
Shenron's voice rang out, and in the next moment, the dark clouds dissipated as the great dragon dissolved into seven beams of light, scattering across the world once more.
…
As the dark clouds dispersed and the seven Dragon Balls transformed into streaks of light, vanishing into the sky, Raditz finally let out a sigh of relief. Using the Dragon Balls for this wish had been partly an experiment, but more importantly, he had to ensure Slug wouldn't be able to use them for his own recovery.
Even in his injured state, Slug was far beyond their current strength. If he had managed to heal using the Dragon Balls, it would have been a catastrophe. This way, with the orbs rendered dormant for a full year, the risk was significantly reduced.
"Raditz San? Is there anything else you need from me?" Kami Piccolo cautiously inquired after seeing Raditz's relieved expression.
"No, that will be all. Kami, I appreciate your help."
Raditz cast a brief glance at him, initially intending to leave immediately. But after a moment's thought, he offered his gratitude before his figure blurred into a streak of light, shooting off into the distance.
Watching him depart, Kami Piccolo stood frozen for a moment, lost in thought. However, Raditz had no time to concern himself with the Guardian's musings. His focus was on his next destination.
Descending rapidly, he soon arrived at Mount Paozu.
By the time he touched down, Celipa, Toma, and the others were already there, waiting anxiously. The moment Raditz appeared, they rushed toward him.
"Raditz, did you find Aspara?" Toma asked eagerly. After all these years, their instinct to rely on Jiang Chen had never faded, and this crisis was no exception.
Facing Slug, their first thought had been Jiang Chen. Compared to them, he was far stronger. If he transformed into a Great Ape, he might just have the power to take Slug down in his weakened state.
"Aspara is in the middle of an intense training session. He won't be emerging anytime soon." Raditz shook his head as he spoke.
"What!?" Celipa and the others paled at the news.
Raditz opened his mouth to speak, but suddenly, he sensed something. His gaze snapped toward the distant cosmos.
At the same moment, Son Goku's expression shifted as he felt it too.
Then Celipa, Toma, Toteppo, and Panbukin— all of them sensed it.
"Not good. He's here!" Celipa's face drained of color as she exclaimed in alarm.
"Move out!" Raditz's voice was calm but firm. Without hesitation, he shot into the sky.
Goku immediately followed.
Celipa and the others exchanged uneasy glances, but in the end, they clenched their fists and soared after them.
