Chapter 107 This Is Just Beginning

At the center of the arena, Akira stood opposite Todoroki, his arms crossed as he observed his opponent.

"I remember the last time we fought was about a week ago," Akira said casually.

"Yeah," Todoroki replied, his voice steady. "But after more than a week of training, I've grown a lot stronger. This time, I hope you'll take me seriously."

Akira studied him for a moment before breaking into a smirk. "Fine, fine. The Recovery Girl is here anyway. Even if you get seriously injured, it's not like it'll be permanent."

Todoroki didn't respond, but his body tensed, ready to launch forward at the first opportunity.

"Start!" Midnight's voice rang through the stadium.

Todoroki dashed forward at full speed.

Akira raised an eyebrow. "Starting with close combat? Interesting choice."

Without hesitation, he met Todoroki head-on. Their fists collided with a resounding impact, sending shockwaves rippling across the field.

*Bang! Bang! Bang!*

Blows were exchanged at lightning speed, neither side backing down. The sheer force of their battle stirred up a whirlwind of dust and debris around them.

From the commentator's booth, Present Mic's voice boomed through the stadium.

"Incredible! The match just started, and they're already going all out with raw physical combat! But wait—it seems like neither of them is using their Quirks yet?"

The audience watched in stunned silence. Todoroki, known for his overwhelming ice and fire powers, was willingly engaging in a pure fistfight against Akira.

However, as the minutes passed, it became clear that he was struggling. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead, and his breathing grew heavy. Meanwhile, Akira remained composed, his stamina barely affected.

At a nearby patrol station, a group of pro heroes was watching the live broadcast.

"No way," Mt. Lady muttered in disbelief. "It's almost the finals, and they're still brawling like street fighters?"

"They probably want to prove something," Kamui Woods speculated. "But considering they've already fought multiple rounds today, their physical strength must be wearing down. If this keeps up, the final match might not be as exciting."

Mt. Lady scoffed. "Well, whatever. At least we've got our eye on a few promising candidates."

Back in the stands, the audience's patience was wearing thin.

"What the hell are they doing? Just throwing punches at each other?" someone yelled.

A nearby pro hero turned around, his expression stern. "Physical combat is an essential skill for any pro hero. If you don't understand that, maybe you should pay closer attention."

The heckler grumbled under his breath but didn't argue further.

Meanwhile, in the Class B section, the students were growing restless.

"This is it? I thought this was supposed to be the most exciting match of the festival," one of them muttered.

"Yeah," another agreed. "What happened to the big flashy moves?"

Kendo, however, simply smirked. "Be patient. This is just the beginning."

Inside the ring, Akira finally spoke up.

"Are we going to keep this up, or are you ready to use your Quirk?"

Todoroki hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah… it's time."

A cold mist spread across the arena as he activated his ice.

With a powerful stomp, a surge of freezing air exploded from his body. In an instant, massive ice spikes shot up from the ground, encasing the entire battlefield in a frozen prison.

The stadium fell silent.

Then—

"Is it over already?" someone in the audience whispered.

"He froze the entire arena in seconds… Todoroki's power is insane!"

"But the referee hasn't called the match yet."

"There's no need to! Akira is trapped under all that ice! He's done!"

In the Class B section, jaws dropped in shock.

"Whoa… it's really over?"

"This guy's Quirk is on a completely different level."

Kendo, however, kept her smirk.

"No," she murmured. "This is just the start."
