After hearing Kendou's words, the surrounding students couldn't help but turn to her in confusion.
"Monitor? What are you talking about?"
"Yeah, haven't you been watching the same match? It looks like it's about to end, but you're saying it's just begun?"
Kendou rolled her eyes at them and sighed. "According to the usual flow, this match should be nearing its conclusion, but their real battle… has only just started."
"Just started…?"
As everyone processed her words, their eyes shifted back to the arena.
"That's right," Kendou said in a deep voice. "The real showdown between Class A students has only just begun."
Meanwhile, Present Mic's voice echoed throughout the stadium.
"Is this… is this the end? Did Shoto Todoroki just unleash his power and defeat Kitagawa Akira in one blow?!"
Just as his voice fell, a sharp cracking sound came from the frozen battlefield.
The audience gasped. The ice covering the arena began to fracture, forming more and more cracks at an accelerating pace. Then, with a final *snap*—
*BOOM!*
A surge of sand burst out from the ice, sending shards flying in every direction.
Professional heroes in the front row quickly moved to shield the audience from the sharp debris.
And then, an even more shocking sight appeared—
A floating mass of sand condensed in mid-air, taking shape piece by piece. Gradually, it formed a colossal sand giant with distinct arms and legs.
Standing atop the giant's forehead was none other than Akira.
"What the hell… this can't be real."
"A giant?! He actually created a giant?!"
"Oh my god, this guy is a total monster!"
The stadium erupted in chaos, with spectators shouting in disbelief.
Kendou smirked. "See? I told you. *Now* the real fight begins."
Watching the live broadcast, Mt. Lady's jaw dropped. "Unbelievable! Just a moment ago, he looked like he was about to collapse, and now—he's turned the whole fight around!"
"Of course." The pro hero Kamui Woods folded his arms. "All Might wouldn't take just anyone as a disciple. He must've seen immense potential in Kitagawa Akira."
Mt. Lady's eyes lit up. "Hey, what if we recruit him into our agency?"
Kamui Woods scoffed. "You think it's that easy? Even if we offer the best conditions, the chances of getting him are close to zero. Every top agency is going to fight over him."
"Ugh, you're probably right." Mt. Lady pouted.
Back in the arena, Present Mic's voice carried over the roaring crowd.
"Amazing! Kitagawa Akira has broken free from the ice and created a massive sand giant with his Quirk!"
The spectators cheered wildly, excitement surging through the stadium.
Standing atop his sand titan, Akira crossed his arms. "Shoto Todoroki, are you ready? I'm coming."
Todoroki's eyes burned with determination. "Bring it on!"
At his command, the sand giant reached toward the ground. In an instant, grains of sand coalesced, forming a massive warhammer.
With a thunderous roar, the giant swung the hammer downward—
"BOOM!"
The ground trembled violently as half of the arena was obliterated in a single strike.
Near the judges' table, Cementoss—who was also serving as a referee—jumped to his feet in alarm. "Uh… should we stop the match? This is getting out of hand."
Midnight frowned. "Wait, I need to check with the principal."
She quickly stepped aside and dialed Nezu's number.
Before she could even speak, his voice came through. "Ah, you're calling about the match, aren't you?"
Midnight didn't waste time. "Sir, this is getting dangerous. If this continues, someone could actually die."
Nezu chuckled. "Let them continue."
Midnight's eyes widened. "But—"
"Trust me," Nezu said. "Kitagawa Akira may seem reckless, but he knows exactly what he's doing."
Midnight sighed. "Understood."
Back in the arena, destruction was everywhere. The battlefield had been reduced to a wasteland of cracks and deep pits.
Amidst the devastation, Todoroki stood with ragged breaths. One side of his body blazed with intense flames, while the other steamed from residual frost.
The real battle had begun.
