CHAPTER 189

The night sky was a clear, beautiful one that had thousands of tiny dots scattered around it with the moon standing out in the middle of them all.

The moonlight poured its soft silvery glow endlessly into the garden, pushing the darkness of the night away and casting shadows of the flowering plants in the garden and also that of Everly and Allison who were seated together on the wooden bench in the middle of the garden.

Their faces glowing from the moonlight that bathed them, highlighting the features of their faces. The expression they had on their face was a peaceful one, hinting at the fact that they were enjoying the tranquility of the still night.

The silence of the night wrapped around then in a comforting quiet way that was occasionally being broken by the rustling sound of the leaves as the gentle night breeze brushes through them, the distant hooting of owls and other night birds, and the rhythmic chorus of the night insects, and their soft chirping.
