"Elena, wait!" she called out, and I could hear footsteps behind me. I was done with this situation, it was time for action, but before I could turn around, Mercy intervened.

"Elena, you need to stay calm," she said, and I felt a hand on my arm, pulling me back. I turned to face them, my anger and frustration boiling over.

"Have you seen the news?" I exclaimed, my voice rising. "She's taken her madness public, posting it all over social media!" I shook my head, feeling overwhelmed. Mercy tried to embrace me, urging me to calm down, but I pulled away, my mind racing.

"You don't understand the gravity of this situation," I said, my hand on my forehead, trying to process the chaos that was unfolding.

"Stay calm and think, Elena," Mercy said, her voice tinged with concern.

I shook my head. "Adam cheated on me first, but the story is changing."
