Lydia's POV
Retreating to my desk with a victorious smile on my face, I planned on gathering more evidence. However, I just realized something devastating.
"Oh...oh God...shit!" I'm having a meltdown!
"Lydia! Lydia! What happened to you!?" My colleague spins around in his chair and runs towards me!
"Why did I have to be so stupid and give up on all the evidence?! Ugh!" I yelled quietly again if that is even how it is. My colleague blinked his eyes, "You...don't have evidence...for what? That's it, right? Did anything else happen?"
"Nope. Just the...um...evidence. I'm good, dude. Thank you." Saying, I sigh heavily. He is concerned because of my outburst, but I am glad he didn't question further what evidence I was talking about. I watch my colleague walk back to his desk and sit down. He gives me a thumbs up, and I do the same before we get back to work.
Well, now that I have realized I don't have the evidence for not just one but both of the incidents...
