Chapter 130

Haylie POV

My body trembled from the intensity of the connection we had just shared. Warmth coursed through me, leaving me feeling both vulnerable and alive. The hardness of Liam's presence was gone now, I turned my body around and leaned against the wall for support. My breathing came in shallow gasps, and I managed a weak smile despite my exhaustion.

"I can't feel my legs," I admitted with a breathy laugh, my voice shaky but filled with a strange kind of joy.

Liam's hand rested against the wall as he leaned in close, his forehead nearly touching mine. "Don't worry," he said softly, a tired smile tugging at his lips. "I think we've done enough for one night."

We both chuckled quietly, the exhaustion from our shared intimacy settling over us like a warm blanket.

Then, Liam reached for my hand, his touch gentle yet grounding. "Come on, let's get cleaned up," he murmured, his voice steady and soothing.
