Hello readers I have returned. I am feeling a lot better and am ready to get back to it. As I mentioned a week or so ago, I wanted to start casually storyboarding for a book after this one ends. Currently the top contenders are. Please let me know which one you would prefer.
A dragon in Avatar: This story will follow a young man who was reincarnated as a dragon in avatar. It will follow his life from a young hatchling all the way to adulthood.
The legend of Zelda: Merlin. A Zelda fan dies during a home invasion stabbed by his replica master sword. He is transported to the world of Hyrule with some talent in magic. This story follows his adventures trying to survive and grow his own power.

Arriving back at my Tower I looked around my room at the many fantasy weapons and armor sitting around. Walking over to the closest wall I lifted my newly created staff and dropped it onto a rack with a few spears hanging above it.
"My Lord Your back?"
Turning around I finally saw the maid who had been cleaning my room. This is one thing I will never get used to, I may have been here for years at this point but it's not like all my habits from my previous world have disappeared.
Smiling at her I said "Sorry to disturb you, I was just dropping off my new weapon"
Her eyes widened a bit and she bowed quite deeply "No my lord, this is your room. You have no need to apologise".
"Alright" I said, giving her an awkward smile and leaving the room so that she could finish whatever task I had interrupted.
Entering my own office my eyes almost popped out of my head. There was no paperwork, my desk was quite literally empty for the first time in a while.
"Awesome. I can actually do what I want now"
Looking both ways I didn't spot anybody in the hallway. Walking over to a lantern mounted on the wall I pulled down on it. A soft click and the wall slid open showing a rounding set of descending stairs. Setting off down the stairs the wall closed up behind me, the stairs led me far down to a hallway dug deeper into the mountain then the rest of the castle. After about fifteen minutes of walking I closed in on a thick metal door. Pulling a complicated key out of my pocket I got interested in it and twisted it. I could hear the various locking mechanisms. Clicking inside the metal door till it finally swings open.
"Haven't been here in a while"
Walking into the room the first thing that hit me was the size, it was quite literally a massive warehouse. Despite its size there were a large amount of things layed around of various sizes. I haven't been in here since moving the gate project to a higher floor.
Walking through the large warehouse I passed a variety of my either in progress or dropped projects. Despite my power it doesn't make me a genius, it takes quite a while to finish these more complicated projects. To my left was a half put together car, but not with machinery. Various runes covered its exposed parts. Then to my right was a large metal suit of armor looking suspiciously like it came from warhammer. Walking further into the warehouse I passed a train project I had thrown on the backburner after I accidentally made the previous one explode.
"Finally," I said, approaching a work desk sitting near the back.
Sitting atop the desk was a good collection of carved mana stones, of varying sizes and states. At the center of the desk sat a large stone covered in runes and carved into a large diamond shape. Picking it up I reached to the other side of the desk grabbing a metal stand and placed it into the slot. The box itself had various buttons on the front as well as a smaller stone pointed right at whoever would be using it.
"Alright let's get this to work" I said, setting up an almost identical one; though with less runes on it; to my far left.
For the next few hours or so I played around with the runes both outside and inside the stand. No matter what I changed though nothing seemed to happen. At some point I had even taken the whole thing apart before putting it back together.
"What the fuck? This should be working, there is no way that this is more complicated than the gate" I said fiddling with a rune.
Groaning, I dropped my head onto the desk, annoyed at my own inability to make this work. Compared to the gate it wasn't even that complicated but nothing I did worked and theoretically it should.
"Wait, didn't these things need a fucking antenna?"
Pulling up my own system I quickly crafted a circular antenna with similar runes to what was on the mana stone's stand. Finally I ended it off with a cable with various rubes across it. Making two of them I quickly attached them to the back of both boxes.
"If this doesn't work, I'm giving up," I said resolutely.
Pressing a few rune buttons I watched as the crystal facing me lit up. Then locking over at the second stand I saw a small copy of myself standing atop the crystal.
"Finally!" I yelled hearing the echo from the second stand "This is going to be so fucking usefull"
POV Haru
I was almost home, soon my father would be free then we would just have to flee back to the tower where the fire nation can't touch us.
"Hopefully Pakku and Jeong Jeong aren't coming looking for me" I said to myself.
"Bandits!"
Turning towards the voice I saw one of the guards pointing towards the tree line. Rushing at us were maybe twelve people, all armed. Jumping off the wagon I joined the other six guards standing in a line. Between us there were only two other earthbenders, only one of which could be said to have any training. As the bandits got closer, I slammed my foot into the ground making the ground between us and the bandits cave in a bit making many of them trip and fall.
"Attack," a guard yelled.
Running with the group I moved forward getting even closer, as the bandits tried to recover, I punched my arm up letting the earth launch them back, hopefully knocking them out. As the fight continued it became clear the bandits had not earthbender and they were being repelled.
"Ahh"
Turning I saw one of the other regards be stabbed through by a spear. Without thinking I jumped and brought my heel down on the earth. A spear of rock leopard from the ground pierces his attacker's head, destroying it in the process. Blood flew everywhere, what was left of his head dropped down on the spear of earth.
Dropping to my knees my stomach heaved as my lunch came back up forcing me to throw it up along with anything else in my stomach.
"Kid, you all right"
Looking to my left I saw the guard leader squatting next to me but it was a mistake. My eyes caught the sight of the man I killed behind him and again I threw up.
"Can we get some water over here?" the guard yelled.
Soon enough he was handing me a cup of water that I quickly downed washing the bile back into my stomach.
"Come on kid" he said, grabbing my arm.
He pulled me up and brought me to one of the wagons where he let me climb up in the back.
"Get some rest for now, I want to talk to you when we make camp"
Giving him a nod I watched him walk back to the front of the wagon. Settling in I leaned against the side of the wagon trying to sleep. Closing my eyes though all I could see was the spear of earth with his remains running down its side.
A few hours of barley holding back my heaving stomach we finally made camp in a small clearing about fifty yards into the treeline.
"Come on kid" the guard leader said.
Jumping out of the wagon I followed him past the surrounding treeline till we got to a tree stump where he had me sit down.
"You've never killed someone before" he said not as a question but as a statement.
"No"
"You did good then" he continued.
Eyes widening I looked up at him "Good? I killed someone"
"You killed a bandit, in turn saving someone, someone who gets to go home to their family now"
"What if he had a family?" I said, trying not to throw up as it was still fresh in my mind.
"A bandit, someone who would have killed you without a second thought" he said pausing "Listen kid, in a hundred years of war more people have died than anyone could count. Everyone has lost someone, but that doesn't make it okay. It is a last resort for us but what you did made sure he could go home. You made sure his wife and kid would have money. You saved him"
"I know but"
"No but's. You know that you saved him, killing isn't easy and I hope it never becomes easy for you but for now just focus on what you did right not what happened"
"Alright"
Slapping his hands on his knees he stood "now let's get some food to replace what you lost"
Still stunned by what happened I quietly followed behind him back to the camp. All the while trying not to throw up.

I am not a professional writer, so I know that the story isn't the best. I want to thank everyone for reading until this point, and I hope that you continue to read the story.
