The crew's temporary victory against Featherthulhu and Gooseatron was short-lived. Just as Kazuya and his friends thought they could finally enjoy some well-earned rest on Brioche Island, the ocean began to bubble ominously once more.
"Oh, for cluck's sake." Kazuya groaned as he watched the water churn.
Fergus squinted at the horizon. "That… looks like a giant crab?"
Indeed, a monstrous figure was emerging from the sea—a colossal crab kaiju, with a shell that gleamed like polished armor and massive pincers snapping menacingly.
"It's… Crabzilla!" Fergus shouted.
Sylvara raised an eyebrow. "That's the best name you could come up with? Crabzilla? Really?"
Fergus shrugged. "Hey, I'm not exactly getting paid to be creative here."
Crabzilla Attacks!
Crabzilla let out an ear-splitting screech before stomping toward the island, leaving crab-shaped craters in its wake.
"Okay, I'm officially done with kaiju," Kazuya muttered as he unsheathed his sword.
"You're never done with kaiju!" Fergus grinned, pulling out a makeshift battle net he had crafted from leftover fishing gear.
"What the hell is that?" Kazuya asked.
"A crab-catching net. Duh."
Sylvara facepalmed. "We're fighting a monster the size of a castle, and you brought a fishing net?"
"Look, you gotta start somewhere, okay?"
Battle of the Beach
As Crabzilla advanced, the crew tried everything they could to slow it down.
Sylvara cast a series of magical ice spells, freezing the water around Crabzilla's legs. Kazuya charged in with his sword, aiming for the kaiju's weak spots. Fergus… threw bread rolls.
"What are you doing?!" Kazuya yelled.
"I read somewhere that crabs love bread!" Fergus shouted back.
"Are you thinking of ducks again?!"
Before Fergus could answer, Crabzilla's giant pincers came crashing down, barely missing them by inches.
"This is going great, guys," Sylvara deadpanned.
Enter the Shrimp Soldiers
Just when things couldn't get worse, a horde of shrimp-like minions emerged from the sea, marching in perfect formation. Each shrimp soldier carried a tiny spear made of coral, their beady eyes glinting with malicious intent.
"Shrimp warriors? Really?" Kazuya sighed. "What's next, a lobster king?"
"Don't give the universe ideas!" Sylvara snapped.
The Shrimp Soldiers began their crustacean invasion, swarming the beach and attacking anything in sight.
One shrimp lunged at Fergus, who barely dodged it. "Holy shrimp! These things are vicious!"
"Please never say 'holy shrimp' again," Kazuya groaned.
The Secret Weapon – MegaChick Returns
As the battle raged on, a familiar mechanical squawk echoed through the air.
"MegaChick!" Fergus cheered as their giant chicken mech returned to the scene, now sporting upgrades from the Bread Basket's power.
MegaChick spread its golden wings and unleashed a barrage of feather missiles, wiping out the shrimp soldiers in a flurry of explosions and confetti-like feathers.
"Alright, now we're talking!" Kazuya grinned.
But Crabzilla wasn't going down without a fight. The colossal crab lunged at MegaChick, locking its pincers around the chicken mech's wings.
"Oh no you don't!" Kazuya shouted.
The Legendary Butter Sword
As the battle reached its peak, Fergus pulled out a strange, golden sword from his satchel.
"What the hell is that?" Sylvara asked.
"The Legendary Butter Sword!" Fergus grinned. "Perfect for slicing crab!"
"Where did you even get that?!"
"I don't know. It was just… in the Bread Basket."
Kazuya grabbed the Butter Sword and charged at Crabzilla, leaping onto its back like a crazed hero from a shounen anime.
"FOR BRIOCHE ISLAND!" he yelled, stabbing the sword into Crabzilla's shell.
The kaiju let out a final screech before collapsing into a heap of crab legs.
Feast or Famine?
As the dust settled, the villagers emerged once again.
"What do we do with all this crab meat?" one of them asked.
Fergus grinned. "We throw a feast, of course!"
"With butter!" Kazuya added, holding up the Legendary Butter Sword.
The villagers quickly set up a massive crab feast on the beach, complete with bread baskets, butter fountains, and a giant bonfire.
"Well, that was certainly something," Sylvara muttered as she sat down next to Kazuya.
"You get used to it," he replied, handing her a buttered crab leg.
As the sun set over Brioche Island, the crew shared a laugh, knowing that more chaos awaited them on the horizon.
"What's next?" Fergus asked.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling it's going to be shell-shocking," Kazuya replied with a grin.
