The fire crackled warmly as the group lingered at their makeshift camp, the glow casting long shadows against the rocky terrain of MILF Mountain. The trials were done—or so they thought—but the mountain still had one more trick up its suspiciously well-sculpted sleeves.
Kazuya leaned back on his pack, trying to ignore the weight of exhaustion. Yet, as he glanced over at Sylvara and Ravynne, he couldn't help but feel the atmosphere had taken on an almost… charged quality.
Lady Ravynne had finally discarded her usual armor of wit and sass, replaced by a languid smile as she sipped from an ornate flask she seemed to conjure from thin air.
"Careful with that stuff," Sylvara warned, eyeing her warily. "Last time you drank whatever was in that flask, we ended up in that goat race."
"Don't be ridiculous," Ravynne said, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear with deliberate slowness. "That race was hilarious." She tilted her head toward Kazuya, her smile sharpening. "Besides, I think our little chosen one could use a bit of loosening up, don't you?"
Kazuya, already wary of Ravynne's playful tone, sat bolt upright. "What? I'm perfectly fine! No loosening necessary!"
Sylvara snickered. "Yeah, you're about as loose as a rusty drawbridge."
The Moonlit "Hot Springs" Discovery
"Why don't we take a break?" Ravynne suggested, standing and stretching in a way that was… well, deliberately distracting. She gestured toward a faint mist rising a little ways down the path. "I'm pretty sure I saw some hot springs earlier."
"Hot springs? Here?" Kazuya asked, skeptical.
"Do you think MILF Mountain wouldn't have hot springs?" Ravynne countered, raising an eyebrow. "This place is basically one giant excuse for fanservice."
"Okay, but what if it's a trap?" Sylvara asked, crossing her arms.
"Oh, come on," Ravynne said, grabbing Kazuya by the arm and dragging him to his feet. "A little dip won't kill us. And if it does, at least we'll die relaxed."
The group trudged toward the rising steam, finding a natural spring surrounded by smooth, oddly heart-shaped rocks. The water shimmered under the moonlight, almost too perfect to be natural.
"See?" Ravynne said, already shedding her cloak. "Completely harmless."
Kazuya turned away hurriedly, his face turning red. "Could you give a little warning?!"
"Oh, relax, Kazuya," Ravynne teased. "It's not like you haven't seen—"
"Finish that sentence, and I'll throw you in the spring," Sylvara interrupted, her eyes narrowing.
A Sussy Situation Unfolds
As they settled into the steaming water, Kazuya couldn't help but feel out of place. Ravynne lounged casually, her mischievous grin firmly in place, while Sylvara tried to maintain her usual composure despite the faint blush on her cheeks.
"This feels… weirdly nice," Sylvara admitted, sinking deeper into the water.
"See? I told you," Ravynne said, flicking water at her playfully. "You're way too uptight."
Kazuya, meanwhile, was doing his best to focus on literally anything other than the fact that he was sharing a hot spring with two incredibly attractive women.
"So, Kazuya," Ravynne began, her tone dangerously playful. "What's it like being the chosen one and a blushing mess?"
"Wh-what's that supposed to mean?!" Kazuya spluttered.
"It means you're adorable when you're flustered," she said, leaning a little too close.
Sylvara rolled her eyes but didn't intervene, much to Kazuya's growing panic.
A Spicy Revelation
The tension was interrupted by a strange bubbling sound from the far end of the spring. The group turned as one, watching as a small, glowing orb floated to the surface.
"What is that?" Kazuya asked, squinting at the orb.
Ravynne reached out to touch it, only for Sylvara to grab her wrist. "Don't. It could be cursed."
"Oh, please," Ravynne said, brushing her off. "What's the worst that could—"
The orb exploded in a burst of glittering light, and suddenly, the water took on a faint pink hue.
"This… feels weird," Kazuya said, blinking as a strange warmth spread through him.
Ravynne smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Oh, I like this."
Sylvara frowned, her ears turning red. "This is ridiculous."
"Ridiculously fun," Ravynne corrected, leaning back with a satisfied sigh.
Kazuya, caught between confusion and a growing sense of unease, tried to climb out of the spring—only to slip and land right back in the water.
Chaos Ensues
What followed was a series of increasingly ridiculous misunderstandings. The pink-tinged water seemed to amplify everyone's most ridiculous tendencies. Ravynne became even more flirtatious, Sylvara's sarcastic comments took on a surprisingly playful edge, and Kazuya… well, let's just say he couldn't catch a break.
At one point, Ravynne started a splash fight that somehow ended with Kazuya accidentally face-planting into her lap.
"I swear, it was an accident!" he cried, scrambling away as Ravynne laughed uncontrollably.
"Oh, Kazuya," she said, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes. "You're too easy."
Sylvara, meanwhile, looked torn between amusement and exasperation. "Can we please focus on figuring out what this orb was?"
"Why bother?" Ravynne said, grinning. "It's the most fun we've had in days!"
To Be Continued…
As the night wore on, the group found themselves laughing more than they had in ages. The trials of MILF Mountain seemed a distant memory, replaced by the sheer absurdity of their current predicament.
Somewhere in the distance, the faint sound of clucking echoed through the night.
"Did anyone else hear that?" Kazuya asked, his laughter fading.
"Oh, don't worry," Ravynne said, waving a hand dismissively. "It's probably just the wind."
Spoiler alert: It wasn't.
