Dungeon Hunter: Morphmaster is an action-packed and hilariously chaotic novel set in a modern world flipped upside down by the sudden appearance of dungeons and monsters. Humanity is now split into three distinct races: the Fantasy race, full of elves and dragons who look like they walked out of a cosplay convention; the Beast race, featuring hybrids who can turn into wolves, bears, and other wildlife (basically, walking animal documentaries); and the Human race, who, well… are still just regular humans trying not to die. The story follows Hugo, a young man with no racial traits, powers, or even luck on his side, except for his encyclopedic knowledge of monsters (seriously, the guy could ace a pop quiz on dungeon fauna). But when Hugo stumbles upon the Megatrix, a sleek wrist-mounted device that lets him transform into beefed-up versions of any monster he scans, he goes from "that powerless guy" to "the Morphmaster" overnight. Imagine watching a nerd turn into a turbocharged dragon or an overpowered bear and then complain about how itchy the fur is, welcome to Hugo’s life. As Hugo ventures into the dungeon-infested world, he quickly learns that life isn’t all doom and gloom. Along the way, he makes unexpected friends, finds hilarity in even the most intense situations, and discovers the joys of teamwork with allies who are just as quirky as he is.
