"This world... I used to love reading the novel of this world. To me, this world holds a special place in my heart!" Leon declared, his voice filled with emotion.

"I don't want to see the characters I admired suffer because of the author's interference, and I most definitely don't want to die!"

"Mr. Lin Xuanyu, please ask me any questions you want," he said with a determined look.

Lin Xuanyu nodded, keeping his usual casual demeanor. "First of all, I want you to tell me everything about this world and its story."

Leon hesitated for a moment before nodding. "I wrote down the entire plot of the novel as soon as I transmigrated here, just in case something went wrong. I have it right here in my wallet. I'll send it over to you."

Lin Xuanyu gave a faint smile, pulling out his wallet. The two exchanged contact details, and soon, Leon forwarded the complete plot summary of the novel to him.

As the notification chimed, Lin Xuanyu thought to himself.

Lin Xuanyu leaned in slightly,"Tell me about the plot. Has there been any major shifts until now?"

Leon hesitated, his thoughts swirling. "I haven't really noticed a major shift in the plot until I met you, Lin Xuanyu."

He shifted in his seat, as if trying to put his thoughts into order.

Lin Xuanyu raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Me?"

Leon nodded, leaning forward with a more serious tone. "Yes, with you alive things might really change around.

"For instance, Lin Yuan wanted you dead so the engagement with the Rain Family's young miss would be nullified. He planned to take your place as her fiancé."

"She's supposed to be an important character—she's one of the main heroines of the story. But she falls for the main character Alex and this causes a lot of hatred to form between Lin Yuan and this causes a lot of drama within the novel. You can check the novel for more detailed information, but since you are now still alive the contract won't nullified and he won't be able to take your place, This will definitely cause changes in the plot"

He paused briefly, gathering his thoughts before continuing. "Not only that, for that seed monster, that's where things got... messed up. Originally, it was supposed to be a joint effort between Alissa and Alex to defeat it. That was supposed to be a important moment, helping them bond further and increase their relationship." He sighed, tapping his fingers on the table. "But instead, you took it down. It wasn't supposed to happen that way, but..."

Leon's face eased slightly as he spoke. "But honestly, I don't think this will significantly change the plot. The seed monster is dead, but the characters are still going to move along their life. Or at least that's what I'm hoping will happen. The butterfly effect is tricky—small changes can spiral into bigger ones"

Lin Xuanyu nodded, absorbing the information quietly.

Honestly, he didn't care much about the plot changing. His task was to eliminate the beings that were trying to destroy this world. The plot, whatnot—he did not care.

But knowing the future of this world could be advantageous.

Leon leaned back slightly, his eyes reflecting a hint of concern as he continued. "There's also the Seven Heart Academy. It's a major part of the story, especially for the MC, Alex. The academy is where a lot of the key events unfold. There's going to be an announcement soon about the Trial of the Seven Heart Academy. It's an event that takes place in a Special gate with core-formation monsters. It's meant to test the strength and potential of young cultivators, and those who pass are invited to join the academy."

He paused, eyes flickering slightly. "The academy is run by Diana Ross—one of the strongest individuals in this world. She's an absolute powerhouse, someone with enough authority and strength to rival the federation master. It's a relatively safe place, at least compared to the outside world. She is also the master of Lia Rain."

Leon looked at Lin Xuanyu and said. "If you're planning on sticking around, the academy might be your next stop. The Trial is a huge event, and many of the characters will be there—whether they're allies or enemies of Alex." 

After exchanging more words, Lin Xuanyu finally revealed a crucial piece of information.

"Lin Yuan is an otherworlder," he said flatly.

"You should watch out for him. He might cause trouble for you."

Leon was taken back for a moment, "I didn't except a turn of event like that"

Leon then frowned slightly. "Are you confident you can eliminate him?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Lin Xuanyu shook his head. "No," he replied simply.

"But I will do what's necessary when the time comes. Maybe, Lin Yuan might be the key to knowing who the so-called Author is. For now, you should focus on staying safe."

Leon nodded, a determined glint in his eyes. "I'll make sure to enter the Seven Hearts Academy as soon as possible. It's the safest option for now."

With that, they exchanged a brief farewell. Leon set off saying that he was going to focus on getting stronger for the trial.

Lin Xuanyu watched Leon disappear into the distance, stretching with a wide yawn.

Despite being at the 4th level of the Transition Realm, he still needed sleep.

Sure, once he reached Core-Formation, that might change, because Core-Formation stage cultivators no longer relied on physical energy but rather spiritual energy.

However, he couldn't help but think even then, he'd probably still need to sleep every night. Some habits were hard to break, after all.

He glanced over at the large backpack slung over his shoulder, filled with the monster cores he had collected.

"Let's cash out and head home early," He muttered to himself, a smirk forming in his face.

The day had been more eventful than he had expected, but now, it was time to make his way to the store, cash in on his loot, and finally get some well-earned rest.
