Chapter 35 The Decision

Allen's POV

I couldn't believe my cousin could be so careless, letting Gianna go to the restroom alone.

"Allen!" Charlotte's sweet, clear voice floated into my ears, and my wolf let out a happy howl. Yeah, she was my mate, though nobody else knew about it.

"What's up, Charlotte?" My wolf was thrilled to be with her, and I couldn't help but smile. I'd watched her grow up, always seeing her as my little sister.

Before I turned twenty-one, Dennis had sent Charlotte abroad for studies, so my wolf couldn't sense our mate for a long time. That changed a year ago when Charlotte came back home for a visit.

Oh, how I wished I could mark her, but I had to hold myself back. She wasn't even twenty-one yet. Not to mention, she was Dennis' sister... well, half-sister.

Things were fine when she wasn't around, but now that she was here more often, it was getting harder and harder to focus. I slowly turned around, put on a serious face, and spoke to her.
