"But my agreement has some conditions," Dennis said.


Lawrence's face slowly broke into a faint smile. The gleam in his eyes wasn't crude at all. "Go on..." he replied, "I'm listening."


Through mind link, I could feel a suppressed anger and unwillingness radiating from Dennis.


"After the war ends, that's when I'll get married. Right now, I need to focus on our national defense. I can't let marriage and other women's business distract me." Dennis' tone was firm.


Scarlett was stunned for a moment. Lawrence didn't seem too thrilled with the idea either. However, his daughter had caused so many problems. Now, he didn't have much face left to ask for anything.


Given that Alpha King hadn't canceled the wedding in anger, Lawrence should be thanking his lucky stars.


"Is there anything else?" Alpha King didn't push for Dennis to marry Scarlett. Scarlett slapped Gianna, and this time, she had really shot herself in the foot. She deserved it.
