All day, I didn't receive any phone calls or messages from Justin. Even though we didn't regularly talk, I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. Finally, after several hours of not hearing a peep from him, I decided to call.


Dialing the number, I called around 1pm. It only rang and rang until his voicemail picked up. I kept ringing him throughout the day, but the same thing kept happening until at some point it didn't even ring. Just straight to VM.  


I tried texting him several times too, making sure to keep the messages as generic as possible with "How's your day?" and "Hope your business is going well". Still nothing in response.  


Knowing I couldn't leave my dorm, especially after his strict instructions, all I could do was pace. Parting the curtains, I discreetly scanned the parking lot. Over to the west part of the school were the offices for faculty. I hoped to see a light on in his, but it was dark.
