Felix pov
Felix's laughter echoed through the hallway as he walked away, leaving Raymond to wonder what had just happened.
Raymond shook his head, chuckling to himself. He knew that Felix was just joking around, but sometimes his friend's antics could be overwhelming.
Just then, Scarlet, Raymond's secretary, walked into the office. "Sir, I have the reports you requested," she said, her voice professional and poised.
Raymond took the reports from her, his eyes scanning the pages. "Thank you, Scarlet. You're doing a great job," he said, smiling.
Scarlet smiled back, her eyes sparkling with appreciation. "Thank you, sir. I'm glad to be of help," she said, before turning to leave.
As she walked out of the office, Raymond couldn't help but notice the way Felix had reacted to her earlier. He had seemed genuinely uneasy around her, and Raymond wondered what could have caused that.
He shrugged it off, telling himself that Felix was just being paranoid. But as he delved deeper into the reports, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.
Meanwhile, Felix was walking out of the building, his mind still reeling from his conversation with Raymond. He couldn't believe that his friend wasn't taking him seriously.
As he walked down the street, he ran into Sophia, Raymond's sister. "Hey, Sophia! What's up?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Sophia smiled, her eyes shining with amusement. "Not much, Felix. Just running some errands. What about you?" she asked.
Felix grinned, his eyes locked onto Sophia's. "I'm just trying to take care of your brother. He's not listening to me, as usual," he said, his voice laced with frustration.
Sophia laughed, her eyes sparkling with mirth. "That's my brother for you. Always knows what's best," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Felix chuckled, his eyes never leaving Sophia's face. "Yeah, I know. But someone's got to keep him in check," he said, his voice low and husky.
Sophia's cheeks flushed, her eyes dropping to the ground. "I think you're doing a great job, Felix," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Felix's heart skipped a beat, his eyes locked onto Sophia's. He knew that he had feelings for her, but he wasn't sure if she felt the same way.
As they stood there, the tension between them palpable, Felix knew that he had to make his move. He couldn't let his feelings for Sophia go unspoken forever.
Felix took a deep breath, his heart racing with anticipation. "Sophia, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
Sophia looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Of course, Felix. What's up?" she asked.
Felix hesitated, unsure of how to begin. He had been wanting to tell Sophia how he felt for weeks, but he had been too afraid.
"Sophia, from the moment I met you, I knew that you were someone special," Felix said, his voice filled with emotion. "I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go out with me sometime?"
Sophia's face lit up with surprise, and for a moment, Felix thought he had misread the situation entirely. But then, a slow smile spread across her face.
"I'd love to, Felix," Sophia said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Felix's heart soared, and he couldn't help but grin from ear to ear. "Really?" he asked, trying to contain his excitement.
Sophia nodded, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Really," she replied.
Felix let out a whoop of excitement, picking Sophia up and spinning her around in a circle. "I'll pick you up at 7pm on Friday," he said, setting her back down on the ground.
Sophia laughed, her eyes shining with happiness. "I'll be ready," she said.
As Felix walked away, he couldn't help but feel like he was on top of the world. He had finally confessed his feelings to Sophia, and she had said yes.
But little did Felix know, his confession had not gone unnoticed. Raymond had been watching from his office window, a mixture of surprise and concern on his face.
"Felix and Sophia?" Raymond thought to himself. "I didn't see that coming."
Raymond's mind began to wander, thinking about the implications of Felix and Sophia's relationship. He knew that Felix was a great guy, but he also knew that his sister was a grown woman, capable of making her own decisions.
As he sat back in his chair, Raymond couldn't help but smile. He was happy for Felix and Sophia, and he knew that their relationship would bring a new dynamic to their group.
But as he looked back at the reports on his desk, Raymond's expression turned serious. He had a feeling that something was off, and he was determined to get to the bottom of it.
Meanwhile, Felix was walking on air, his heart filled with excitement and anticipation. He couldn't wait to see Sophia on Friday, and he knew that their date would be one to remember.
Felix walked into the building, still feeling elated about his conversation with Sophia. As he approached the reception area, he saw Scarlet .
"Hey, Scarlet," Felix said curtly, not bothering to hide his disdain.
Scarlet looked up, a fake smile plastered on her face. "Oh, hi Felix. How are you?" she asked, her voice dripping with insincerity.
Felix raised an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing. "I'm fine, thanks. But I'm still waiting for you to slip up so I can expose you," he said, his voice low and menacing.
Scarlet's smile faltered for a moment, before she regained her composure. "I don't know what you're talking about, Felix," she said, her voice dripping with innocence.
Felix snorted, his eyes rolling in disgust. "Save it, Scarlet. I know you're up to something, and I'm going to find out what it is," he said, before turning and walking away.
Scarlet's eyes narrowed, her face twisting into a scowl. "You think you're so smart, Felix?" she thought to herself. "But you have no idea what I'm capable of."
As Scarlet continued to watch Raymond, her smile grew wider. She had been planning this for months, and it was finally coming together.
Raymond, oblivious to the danger lurking nearby, continued to work on the papers on his desk. He was so focused on his work that he didn't even notice Scarlet getting up from her desk and walking towards him.
But Felix noticed. He had been watching Scarlet from across the room, and he saw her get up and start walking towards Raymond. Felix's instincts told him that something was wrong, and he quickly got up from his seat and started walking towards Raymond's office.
As Felix approached the office, he saw Scarlet standing in the doorway, a sly smile still spreading across her face. Felix's heart skipped a beat as he realized that Scarlet was up to something.
"Ray, I need to talk to you," Felix said, trying to sound calm.
Raymond looked up from his papers, a look of confusion on his face. "What's up, Felix?" he asked.
But before Felix could respond, Scarlet spoke up. "I think Felix is just here to spread more of his paranoid delusions, Raymond," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Felix's eyes narrowed. "Shut up, Scarlet," he said, his voice low and menacing.
Raymond's eyes widened in shock. "Felix, what's going on?" he asked.
But before Felix could respond, Scarlet spoke up again. "I think Felix is just jealous of the fact that I'm doing such a great job as your secretary, Raymond," she said.
Felix's face turned red with anger. "That's it, Scarlet. I've had enough of your lies," he said, taking a step closer to her.
And with that, the tension in the room reached a boiling point. It seemed like things were about to get out of hand.
Raymond shook his head, a calm and rational expression on his face. "Felix, I understand your concerns, but I think you're being paranoid. Scarlet has been an excellent secretary, and I trust her completely."
Felix's face turned red with frustration. "You're not listening to me, Ray! I'm telling you, something is off about her."
Raymond sighed, his expression firm but gentle. "Felix, I appreciate your loyalty, but I think you're misjudging Scarlet. She's a hard worker and a valuable member of our team."
Felix's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in anger. "Fine, Ray. But mark my words, you'll regret not listening to me."
With that, Felix stormed out of the office, leaving Raymond feeling concerned but still convinced that Felix was overreacting.
Scarlet, who had been watching the exchange from across the room, smiled to herself. She knew that Felix was a threat to her plans, but she also knew that Raymond's trust in her was unshakeable.
And with that, Scarlet continued to work, her eyes fixed on the prize, while Felix seethed with anger and frustration outside.
As the day went on, Felix couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. He kept thinking about Scarlet and her suspicious behavior.
Meanwhile, Raymond was oblivious to the tension and continued with his work, trusting that Scarlet was doing her job to the best of her abilities.
As the sun began to set, Scarlet packed up her things and left the office, a sly smile spreading across her face. She knew that she had to be careful, but she was confident that her plan would work.
Felix, on the other hand, was still fuming about his argument with Raymond. He couldn't believe that his friend wouldn't listen to him, and he was determined to prove that Scarlet was up to no good.
As he walked out of the office, Felix ran into Sophia, who was on her way home from a meeting. "Hey, Felix, what's wrong?" she asked, noticing the look of concern on his face.
Felix hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about Sophia's kind and caring expression put him at ease. "It's just Scarlet," he said, his voice low and serious. "I think she's up to something, but Raymond won't listen to me."
Sophia's expression turned thoughtful. "I've noticed that Scarlet can be a bit... odd," she said. "But I'm sure she's not capable of anything malicious."
Felix raised an eyebrow. "You're not taking me seriously, are you?" he asked.
Sophia smiled. "I am taking you seriously, Felix. But we need to be careful. We can't just accuse someone without proof."
Felix nodded, feeling a sense of relief that Sophia was on his side. Together, they vowed to get to the bottom of Scarlet's mysterious behavior and uncover the truth.
As Felix and Sophia continued to discuss their concerns about Scarlet, they decided to start investigating her activities. They began by reviewing the company's security footage, looking for any suspicious behavior.
After hours of reviewing the footage, they finally found something. A clip showed Scarlet accessing a restricted area of the building, late at night.
Felix's eyes widened as he watched the clip. "This is it," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "This is the proof we need."
Sophia's expression turned serious. "We need to show this to Raymond," she said.
Felix nodded, already knowing what Raymond's reaction would be. But he was determined to convince his friend that Scarlet was a threat.
As they prepared to show the footage to Raymond, Felix couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. What would happen when Raymond saw the clip? Would he finally believe Felix, or would he continue to defend Scarlet?
The tension was palpable as Felix and Sophia walked into Raymond's office, the security footage ready to be played.
"Ray, we need to talk," Felix said, his voice firm.
Raymond looked up, a hint of curiosity on his face. "What's going on?" he asked.
Felix took a deep breath, bracing himself for Raymond's reaction. "We have proof that Scarlet is up to something," he said.
Raymond's expression turned skeptical. "What kind of proof?" he asked.
Felix smiled, confident that he had finally found the evidence he needed. "Just watch," he said, playing the security footage.
The room fell silent as the clip played, Raymond's expression changing from skepticism to shock.
As the clip ended, Felix spoke up. "You see, Ray? I told you she was up to something."
But to Felix's surprise, Raymond's reaction wasn't what he had expected...
