Just then, Ethan's mobile phone started ringing. He answered it and saw Chris was calling.
"Ethan, have you seen Yolanda?"
Upon hearing my name, Ethan's expression soured.
"I'm not Yolanda's keeper. How should I know her whereabouts?"
Ethan's response was somewhat hostile, which angered Chris on the other end of the line.
"Listen, Ethan. Yolanda hasn't been in touch for 48 hours. If anything's happened to her, I'll hold you responsible."
"Yolanda's a grown woman. I can't keep her on a leash, can I? She's just vanished on purpose because she saw me looking for Sandy. She wants me to console her, right? Well, that's not happening.
"Chris, if Yolanda contacts you, tell her we can divorce if she doesn't want to be with me. Tell her to stop causing drama all the time."
Ethan's loud voice drew attention from nearby people.
Observing Ethan's reaction, Sandy's face lit up with pleasure.
