The Broom Dancer

'Woah Mama look! A flying broom!' A gust of wind whizzed by the trio.

'Come on Abby, how many times do we have to tell you? Brooms can't fly.'

'You know they are very imaginative at this age, let it flourish and we might have some kind of author on our hands! Hahaha' The couple laughed together, little Abby looking at both of them with joy filled in her eyes.

The colder northern winds were splicing Priscilla's air, her skin being bitten by icy fangs that reached deep into her body. Red eyes scanned the emptying streets, each turn tighter than the last while flying closer toward the outskirts of the Parisian Metropolitan area.

'That should be enough. It will buy me a little bit of time at least.' Her little fingers swiped across the glass screen, pondering on who would be best to call, but no contacts came to mind. Noir wouldn't get to France in a short amount of time, the only other choice was to make it to the library on her own. 'At the very least I have to stay away from those two while they are drunk, if they say something like that again I can't promise not to harm them.' She readied her scissors before snapping her head back to a lonesome rooftop.

'Yoohoo! Little Pris Pris. Why did you run away so suddenly? You didn't tell us about your love life!' A fist came crashing down just where she had been standing. A brick launched forward with Lortus smashing into Kat's arm, a light blue transparent shield blocking it in the nick of time.

'You are more troublesome than Lucia.' Priscilla muttered under her breath, a number of new strategies formed in her mind, and a fire of excitement burned under her heart. 'Bring it on little witch!'

Priscilla dashed in, slicing apart the shield and kicking her in the back of her knee. Crumbling forward she was opened to a head kick that launched her into the side of a building. Brings and glass collapsed onto the incapacitated body, leaving the lonesome Lucia to step up onto the stage.

'What are you waiting for? Scared?' Priscilla cocked her a smirk before launching a brick toward her head. It was easily dodged and another shot down at double its original speed, a circular blade sliced across Priscilla's cheek before returning to Lucia. 'A Chakram?! Are you trying to kill me?!'

'Teehee~' Lucia's large tome materialised beside her, its weight crumbling a part of the building. Under her breath, she began chanting a handful of spells. 'I'm not letting you finish!'

From her ring, she summoned the poison dagger, launching it forward to target the defenceless grimoire. However, a stronger magic barrier stopped it. The sound of shuffling rubble pulled her attention toward the pile of bricks Kat had been flung into. 'That was a good kick. It's been a while since anyone has broken through my lower-level barriers. This will be fun!' Kat cracked her knuckles, disappearing from her position and appearing again by Lucia's side.

'Aren't you a little scardy cat? Why not fight me head-on?'

'Your cheap provocations won't move me-'

'Whoever beats me gets to hear about my love life. However, if I beat one of you or both of you. You have to use your magic for the better!'

'Love Life!' Kat dashed in, landing a heavy blow onto Priscilla's chin pushing her back several feet. The short girl took on her boxing stance, her left foot moved and jabbed at Priscilla's head barely missing as a kick planted into her ribcage sending her flying. Kat couldn't get enough of it, jumping back in with an improvised uppercut knocking Priscilla off her feet. In a moment of desperation, she swept her feet and sliced her upper thigh with Sors.

'Shit! That hurt Prissy!' Blood began to seep through the cuts before healing off completely. Priscilla sighed, launching a surprised brick at Lucia which landed right into her face, disrupting her incantation. 'Fuck yes!' A heavy blow carved out a crater in Priscilla's stomach in turn launching her through three buildings.

'Shit- What sort of power is that little girl packing. She hasn't used a single offensive spell.'

'You really want to know?' A blacked-out silhouette with an eerie green smile watched over her pained body.

'Go for it....'

'I don't have a single offensive spell in my grimoire. I don't need any.'

'Then how are you so strong?!'

'Because I have no offensive spells I learned to grow strong physically rather than depending on many factors that can go wrong.' She giggled to herself hysterically before snapping her head backwards to face Priscilla one more time. 'So...are you ready to tell me about your love life?'

'Pfft in your dreams lunatic.' From her pocket, she withdrew a beautiful card.

'I Invoke the Authority of Judgement, Bringer of Light and Vanquisher-' A punch landed in the pit of her stomach, followed by another across her head.

'You think I am an idiot to let you bust out a trump card like that? Nice try-' The broom jammed itself in the short witch's side launching her backwards.

'I Invoke the Authority of Judgement, Bringer of Light and Vanquisher of Dark!' The space around broke down and built back up into a different-looking courtroom than the previous one. On one end stood the quickly recovering Kat while Priscilla stood to face her. In the blink of an eye, she flew to deliver a fatal blow to Priscilla's chest only to be launched several feet back into a chair with restraints.

'What the fuck is this?! I have never seen a spell like this?'

'It is my original spell prepared by Lucia for me. In this space, I can turn over the tables against anyone.' Priscilla smirked turning to the massive judge that faced both.

'I would like to accuse this person of the crime of allowing deaths to go on despite having the power to prevent such events.'

The beautiful lady leaned forward, inspecting the short girl through her blindfold. 'While what you utter is true...it is not a crime.' Her large gavel smashed into the desk several times, crumbling the domain back into the darkened Paris.

'That was a ballsy girl. You got some real spunk.' 'Yuck. Do you witches ever speak normally?' Priscilla put up her middle finger at the shivering Kat. Like a lion she swung forward, Priscilla closed her eyes bracing for the impact. An impact that never arrived, her eyes slowly opened to see that every around her was frozen solid. A piece of paper hovering ready to be acquired sat just centimetres in front of her.

'I am guessing the system is warning me against fighting them head-on. Even with this crazy new buff that I haven't uncovered yet from the Chaos Dragon. How annoying. But it's fine.'

A pair of black a green sabatons decorated with jagged black edges formed around her legs, a rush of energy washed through her veins as she readied herself in a running stance. 'This is awesome! Not very defensive but I suppose running is a way of defending yourself. But like hell I will be running away in these sick puppies.' Her hands snatched the small scissors and grew them out into two blades.

'Let's fucking do this!'
