Xavian blinked at Viktor and pinched between his brows.

Viktor's lips parted, clearly unsure what to say. "It's—I—"

"Didn't you say he was here?" Ramon cocked a brow.

"He is." Viktor nodded. "Well, he was. He had some kid with him."

"Yes. Not really a kid, but he looked like a newly manifested."

"So…what you're saying is that Adam is gone, as in, he's no longer in this human side?" Ramon inquired.

Viktor's phone suddenly began ringing, and he plucked it out of his pocket to look at the screen.

"Sir, I don't think you'll find Mr. Adam there."

He eyed both Xavian and Ramon and put the call on speaker. "Why?"

"Mr. Adam has already returned to Spetra. He's no longer here."
