Adam stopped at the very building that belonged to his father, made entirely out of white marble, the exterior white. Calling it a house would be incorrect because this place was a mansion, almost like it was endless in size.
Luca looked up at Adam, who was staring at the building, and slowly moved much closer to him, grabbing and holding onto his hand. Adam glanced down at him.
He signed, "What is it, kid?"
"He's going to kill us, won't he?" Luca asked. "We didn't…complete the mission."
Adam sighed under his breath and lifted his hand, ruffling his chestnut hair.
"We'll be fine." He gestured with his fingers.
They made their way towards the entrance as the security bowed, greeting. Adam acknowledged with a nod, heading into the mansion with Luca. They stopped at the large foyer and beelined for the elevator that took them up to the floor, which was where he was sure his father would be.
In his study.
