16. Meeting in her bedroom (Part 3)

Why did she suggest going to her house instead of after-school classes or the library, and then just leave? There was no one to ask, and all that remained was my slight confusion.Even with all my mixed emotions, I contacted Yuki. I felt like I couldn't go to the Literature Club in this state, and I thought I'd think about it when I got home.Yuki said she'd be there in about 30 minutes, so I waited at the school gates. Unlike before, I wasn't really paying attention to the girls from the sports club running in.I met up with Yuki and we were walking home, but halfway through, Yuki asked me, "By the way, did you talk to Asagi about anything today?", and I stopped dead in my tracks."It looks like she said something... I'm curious."Yuki gave me a devilish look, so I gave up and told her about our last exchange of the day. Then, Yuki looked impressed."...You're amazing, Asagi."After muttering that, Yuki told me not to turn down the invitation, and that it would be okay because she would tell her mother. Even if she had no intention of turning it down, the problem was that she suddenly specified her house."Hmm," Yuki said, cutely worried, but gave me her opinion on the matter."If Asagi-san said home, I don't think she was joking. So, if Shun-nii is okay with it, then you should go... and if something bad happens to Shun-nii, Mom and I won't keep quiet about it, you know?"Yuuki's eyes were fixed as she spoke. It seemed like a false causal relationship that I would get involved in a crime by going to Sasai-san's house, but Yuki looked completely serious."But, although we haven't talked much, I think Asagi-san can be trusted. Of course, it's up to Shun-nii whether he actually goes or not."Yuki ended the conversation with that. To begin with, going to a girl's house is a scary thing for me, and I don't know how to solve it. And yet, Yuki came to the conclusion that it would be okay if I was okay. In fact, during dinner at home, Mom asked me, "Shun-kun, will you be back by the time I get home tomorrow?", which made me choke a little. It seems Yuki has already spoken to him about it.Sure, Mom told him to get along with a lot of different people, but she doesn't want him to suddenly send her son into such a hellish situation. In a situation like this, I think she would have stopped him in the original world, but it seems like their senses are very different.I thought I understood that the relationships between men and women in this world were different from mine. Still, I thought it had nothing to do with me, and that women's assertiveness was something far removed from my imagination. However, as I spent my time at school, I certainly felt that girls were more assertive, and I began to realize that the gender ratio had an impact. Still, being invited to the home of a girl I'd only met about two weeks, and having my own family agree to it, was beyond my imagination. Now that it had come to this, the option of refusing was gone. I made up my mind and went to Sasai's house. However, I was only there to teach her, and nothing more. Anything more than that was out of the realm of a person like me.The next day, I was nervous from the morning and ate slowly. Yukari even asked me worriedly, "Are you okay?", so I couldn't really taste the delicious breakfast.Yuki was worried about me and said, "Well, see you tonight!" I went to school with all sorts of emotions swirling around, and when I sat down in the classroom, Sasai-san turned to me and whispered to me."...We promised to meet after school today, right?"I should have asked her if the promise to meet her at her house was true. However, Sasai-san quickly turned forward, so I couldn't muster the courage to ask again. So I spent the day distracted by that.In the end, I only remembered about half of the contents of the class when it was time for school to end. Sasai-san turned around, stood up, and whispered to me."Well, shall we hurry up...?"When she said this while blushing a little, I felt nervous too. The situation of me being asked to go to the house of a beautiful girl in my class made my heart pound so much that it drowned out the noise around me. On the way home, I heard Sasai complaining that she didn't understand the basics of math, so her daily homework was hard. I nodded along to her, but I didn't really take in what she was saying. I wonder if Sasai has any reservations about letting me into her house. If I were good-looking, it would be one thing, but I'm a guy who's below average, so I wonder if she doesn't mind. Sasai just asked for help with her studies, and that's all there is to it. I'm in danger of misunderstanding because of all the erotic things that have happened recently, but I'm not the kind of person who can hope for anything in the first place. But even so, I was a little nervous when it was time to go inside the house, and I started to feel like I had really come. I wondered if I should say hello to her parents, and as I looked around, Sasai told me."My mom is always late at work, so it's just us at home right now, you know?"She must have told me that because it looked like I was looking for someone to say hello to. Even though he had no other intentions, it is a man's nature to be startled.Trying to stay calm, I followed Sasai to the second floor while silently praying in my mind.
