I was so eager to be out of here. The fact that Caleb was there made it even harder for me.
I took my bath, and since I now had a dress given to me by Emily, I changed into something. Just when I was about to open the door, there was a knock on my door. I opened it, and Emily was already dressed too.
"Thank goodness you're already dressed. Caleb wants to take us to a park, and I think you should tag along," Emily said.
"I don't want to go. I don't think I'll go. It's time I head back home," I replied.
Emily stared at me, confused. "I thought we made an agreement that you'll stay here for some while first."
"I changed my mind."
"Please don't do this, Amber. Please don't do this right now. Let's have some more fun, then you can go. I know you have your reasons, and I can't stop you from leaving."
I heaved a sigh and said, "Fine, but we won't take much time out there." I warned, and she nodded, "Sure."
