Chapter 9

"You say you can't lose me? What a joke! It's my money you can't bear to part with! You're just clinging to someone who's been your personal cash cow, always giving in to your demands!" I snapped.

"That's not true! I genuinely care for you and don't want our relationship to end..." Henry replied anxiously.

"Enough! You're repulsive! Keep pestering me, and I'll have no choice but to circulate those intimate pictures of you and Mallory to everyone at your workplace!"

Henry's complexion drained. "Pictures? When did you take those?"

"Oh, getting defensive now? Weren't you insisting you two were just chatting and dozed off? Let's see how well that story holds up with your coworkers and superiors. Think they'll buy it?" I jeered.

"You must erase those photos, understand?!" He demanded.

"I'll delete them, but only after you sign the divorce papers," I smirked.

Henry clutched his head in distress. "Camille, is there no way to salvage our marriage?"

I firmly shook my head. "No."
