Jasmine's Perspective
The crowd began to whisper among themselves. Many cast disapproving glances at Liam, but their status as his subordinates prevented them from openly expressing their contempt.
Liam's face flushed with anger as he rounded on Mira. "You photographed it and sent it to her?! What were you thinking?! Look at the mess you've created!"
Mira appeared shocked and remorseful, clearly not anticipating such a significant reaction to the image.
"I... I didn't mean to," she mumbled, her eyes brimming with artificial tears, which seemed to soften Liam's expression slightly.
I scoffed. "How pitiful," I said scornfully. "We're finished, Liam."
Liam turned to me, his face a mixture of fury and exasperation. "So you think you can just walk away from me, that you'll be fine without me! Go ahead! But don't come crawling back when you realize what a huge mistake you've made."
"No worries," I responded with an indifferent shrug. It was time to put an end to all the deception.
