[WSA 2025 Entry]
Aiden Chase has always lived in the shadow of his family’s legacy. As the eldest son of the renowned Chase family, celebrated for their relentless pursuit and capture of Magi- beings cursed with extraordinary powers- he was raised to uphold their name. But everything changes when Aiden awakens to a power of his own, a fire within that marks him as the very thing his family hunts. When his father hunts him down, Aiden is rescued and taken to Genvah Academy, an illustrious academy for Magi hidden in the outskirts of Soleil. At first, Aiden hopes the academy will offer him solace and a chance to reclaim a semblance of peace. But Genvah Academy nor Soleil is no haven.
Beneath the city's golden spires lies darkness- secrets, betrayal, and a looming war that threatens to consume everything. As Aiden unravels the truth about his powers and his family’s legacy, he must navigate a world far more dangerous than he ever imagined.
Peace is fleeting, and survival comes at a cost.
This story has had a great start, with depth to the mc and the challenge of maintaining responsibility due to heritage. I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters as the action has picked up and I hope that the author keeps updating!
I read up to to chapter 10 and I am looking for more. This is quite a good novel, and I am starting to like fantasy stories. I love Aiden and looking forward to read more about him.
This is a good story! like I mean- its rare to see a fantasy x mystery theme! like I mean i usually find fantasy x adventure or horror/thriller x mystery but not fantasy and mystery! I like this because ofcourse, number 1 is the writing quality, it makes you engrossed in the story. no. 2 is because the character development is realistic, and lastly, because I like mystery! it'll be interesting to read as how aiden will find the truth and- what the truth even is! If you like fantasy yet mystery, then go ahead and try this one! I promise its good!
I believe that this novel will become something later on and after reading 4 chaps...the plot was intriguing and intricate in its making. Though I know now what will happen in the future......the MC will have more plight after that and will have tantamounts of adventures and action. More chap please 🥺
The start was very mysterious, I kept wondering where we were I do hope we get to find out the meaning of the trance. I enjoy the world building, its off to a slow space but it's very immersive. free my boy Aiden please ☹️
this is a good novel so far and hope that others also enjoy it!!
Bruh! Ain’t never seen a story that started so uniquely, engulfing you in a sense of urge. Time can’t even be tracked reading this because it gets you so engrossed you only crave more. No one should miss out on this![img=update]
Took a while to finally get into the story but now I'm hooked to it. I can't wait to see the obstacles Aiden would face and how he'll overcome them.
The first chapter of "Whispers of Worlds Beyond" is an intriguing start to what promises to be an exciting fantasy series. It begins with a sense of mystery as Aiden Chase is called by a soft whisper, immediately drawing the reader into the story. The author's description of the setting, from the sweet-scented wind to the ancient tree, is vivid and immersive, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that makes it easy to get lost in the world being built. I'm looking forward to reading more to see where the story goes. However, it's still early in the series, and there's room for improvement in terms of character development and plot clarity. I would rate this chapter a 4.4 out of 5 stars.
Alright, a cool fantasy and mystery book :0 ngl loved it, I have read upto 15 chaps which is... all there is to read for now (upload more -_-) and honestly speaking, I liked the world building, characters are well written, everything is cool. I'm actually looking forward to see the 'mystery' thing in its full throttle and ofc, aidans future growth... May the author get some kind of celestial enlightenment and write more T-T
This book has a very original writing style and tonality to it, especially compared to other books in the genre on this site. It keeps it interesting to read. I’m looking forward to reading more and see where the story goes!
